Maybe once upon a time this was a good restaurant, I guess this restaurant is at the top and now it's going down...I see the other comments, to tell you the truth, it's a story for children...By the way, I am a chef. Italian food is simple food, the less ingredients the better the taste... stop serving old food......

On vacation and had a craving for some good home style Italian food and this place does not disappoint!!! As we sat down we were greeted with some amazing complimentary garlic bread at the table, then started with an Italian salad, very delicious and topped with some grated mozzarella, different but delicious! Had the Veal Parmigiana and it was just perfect!! Put this on your list if you are visiting Scottsdale!

Omg, I'd heard so much about this place and finally tried it. The food was fantastic! I had the lasagne, and it was magnificent, but can't remember what my friend ordered. The garlic bread is TO DIE FOR, and I ate way too much of it. We shared a cannoli for dessert and it was also like eating a slice of heaven. Our server was top notch as well. Overall, a superb dining experience!

Garlic bread was amply supplied. Baby clams in a garlic herbal sauce were delicious. Tortellini soup was mediocre but better things were to come. Seafood antoinette on a bed of pasta with scallops in a lovely sauce hit the spot. Generous serving of lamb ribs served over roasted potatoes in turn floating in a tasty sauce was satisfying. I dare say this Tiramisu is likely the best in the valley. Outdoor seating features charming fountain installments. Recommended

Love the lamb marsala! Best item on the menu. Salad with fresh grated mozzarella always great. Good wine choices.

Food is great, the restaurant is always hopping. It's tough to get a reservation, and the first-come-first-served outdoor tables can get cold in the evening.

We had a very early dinner on a Tuesday just after the restaurant opened so seating was not problematic. My wife and I were joined by friends from Cave Creek who also had not previously been to Uncle Sal's. We were not sure about the menu variety since both of our wives have celiac and need a gluten free diet. A wide variety of options was very pleasing to the girls and all of our meals were terrific. By the time we left the place was filling up so I would recommend reservations if you eat at normal hours. We had a very good experience.

Good food and service, the warm garlic bread is great. The only thing that may need improvement is it's kinda dark and loud in there.

Dinner with friends last night. 3-13-24 Unfortunately, the entire event was soured by the curse service - and their inability to give us the right order. Asked for calzones, not unless you eat at the bar<?> Plus, the chicken piccata was extremely bad smelling, tasting, and basically inedible. Now, my husband has food poisoning.Very disappointing overall. Sorry Uncle Sal, the food and staff needs some help!

Have eaten many times at Uncle Sal’s ( over 12 year period) . I was very disappointed with our meal ( pasta over cooked , watery white sauce , Antoinette thin flavorless ( 2 small scallops , 3 medium shrimp ) wet sauce .. menu needs updating . It’s Italian rest - never over cook the pasta !! Was early takeout 4;30

It was quite disappointing. We spent good money and the food was lackluster at best. Soggy pasta and service that was sub par. I guess the golden era is over.

Very busy restaurant . . . Food was a notch better than average. Can't recommend the lobster ravioli. Salad and bread were excellent.
