Yume was sold and closed a few weeks back. It will be reopening as K-Scoop. I had thought it was going to be a sushi restaurant but the place was gutted so it maybe be something different. The name doesn't suggest sushi to me.

We had been recommended to come here by a sushi snob from California who said this place was really good. We ordered a couple of rolls and two bento boxes. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. The rolls were more traditionally Japanese sized versus the giant rolls you get in some places. Although it is a sit down place everything was served in styrofoam takeout containers which seemed so wasteful. I'm assuming this is due to Covid or lack of staffing. Service was great and prompt. While I would eat here again, I didn't see it becoming my "go to" Japanese place or one I'd highly recommend.

I'm actually quite sad they will not be a sushi spot anymore :(This was my go to lunch spot near the office, and I'm not sure how I feel about this becoming buffet style. I hope they still continue to serve their rolls.

I'm still sitting at my table looking at what's left of my food on my plate when i look in the kitchen and see the chef BLOW HIS NOSE and then proceed to WIPE THE INSIDE OF HIS NOSE WITH HIS FINGER. It's been 5 minutes since he did that and he still has not gone to wash his hands or sanitize. I'm entirely grossed out by the sanitary standards at this place. The all day happy hour is fantastically priced but it comes at a cost: the soy sauce bottles have fuz on them, the ginger is warm and has a *funky* smell to it, the sushi is subpar and the chefs obviously do not take sanitation seriously. GROSS

The food here is very good and they are always made fresh! Cute and cozy place to dine in. Bento boxes are good portion and the prices are very affordable. Highly recommend their bulgogi, very tasty and has a unique flavor. Will definitely be back.

Just finished eating here. I've never not finished sushi in my life and I've had it in my hometown of West Virginia. The food is flavorless and dull. We were served on paper plates and given water in styrofoam cups like we were children. The atmosphere is weird and uncomfortable with the tranquil creek sounds, no one is obviously eating here because of that, and makes the whole vibe creepy. I would describe the service as being served by a anthropomorphic paper bag that doesn't make you feel welcome or care that you're there. I understand COVID has affected restaurants severely over the last year, but many seem to be doing fine now. I don't know what the deal is here, but they have to step it up. I'd give this zero paper plates and styrofoam cups if it would let me.

I'm not entirely sure what has happened to this place, but we were served on plastic plates and plastic cups. All day happy hour sounds great, but sushi is incredibly subpar. This place might have been decent before covid, but the changes in dine-in service are so drastic.

This place is relatively cheap and in a great location. The food is also very good for what you pay. However, I was unimpressed by their miso soup, which tasted bitter like vinegar. Other than that though, Yume is definitely one of the better sushi place in Scottsdale and undoubtably more affordable than most.

Questionable. It was hot inside. Everything was served with plastic and styrofoam. The sashimi was warm. Our server was okay but overall I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Really relaxing environment, nice piano music playing, they shaded their windows so it's a great way to beat the heat, food was awesome. 99 roll is where its at.

The spring rolls and shrimp tempura were delicious The bulgogi was tasty The sushi was disappointing. Was drenched in sauce. I would not bother to come back as I had to eat of $60 dinner on a cheap styrofoam plate
