An amazing meal with such good cornbread! Went during happy hour and had an amazing time! Like the environment and the service was exceptional! Would go back!!!

First time here. We had HH food & drinks ~ very reasonable! Beautiful patio on the waterfront and open air seating inside with the big patio doors. Service was okay, he didn't notice we had no silverware or napkins and forgot to check back. Also we had to find him to get our check so that could improve.

Came on a Friday night at 5:20 for happy hour. Place was jammin. They sat us near the outside with the giant garage doors open. It was so nice, but loud. The doors opened helped a bit with the noise and felt very spacious. Chairs were comfortable, too. Ordered 2 kid meals at $9 each. They had many options for kids and came with a cool color-changing cup. We ordered the salsa trio and chips, nachos, buffalo chicken tenders, and gringo tacos. Most of the items were $5-$7 each. House margaritas were $6 and good. Only complaint is I don't like mushrooms but love enchiladas and they only offer mushroom enchiladas for vegetarians. Would return. Plan to try their veggie fajitas next.

Ztejas used to be my favorite restaurant. Portions have become super small 1/2 of what they used to be. The patio needs help the cushions are torn up not sure why the don't replace them. We had really poor service last night- so disappointed because I chose ZTejas for my birthday dinner. Not sure we will be back again ?

Fabulous patio service during their very busy happy hour. Ordered six or seven things to share and were not disappointed. Chambord Magaritas were outstanding and do refreshing. Do fun looking out on the water, very relaxing setting Can't wait to go back!

Great bartender, horrible management. Had reservations for dinner. Got there early for a happy hour drink. Once seated for our dinner, no one came to wait on us. It was early with many open tables. We waited and waited. Finally, I was able to get the attention of someone in the kitchen. By the time the server came we could not get another round of drinks for happy hour prices. We were there to have entrees not happy hour food. Of course, we could have paid full price, but it was the principal of the matter at that point. Had they come to wait on us we would have had our second round ordered during the happy hour. Manager would not honor the happy hour prices, but instead would rather lose customers and a few hundred dollars. The bartender was empathetic with us, he obviously had more business and common sense than the manager. None of us have returned.

Long wait to get seated even though 2/3 restaurant was empty. Server very nice but thoroughly incompetent. Took another 20 minutes to get water while she stood and talked with other tables. Saw that she repeatedly made order mistakes with other tables. Table next to us came 10 minutes later and had water and made order in 5 min. Had their food before we even ordered. When we finally got our food one plate was barely warm and looked like someone had thrown dog food on the plate. No manager around. Won't be going back.

We started with the salsa trio which had one hot and one mild red salsa and one mild verde salsa. All the salsas were flavorful and the chips were good, too. The salmon with a tequila pineapple salsa was delicious, as were the sides; matchstick cut zucchini and yellow squash and yummy rice. My husband had the fajitas and thought they were very good. Our service was fantastic! We will definitely go back- maybe to try their brunch with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's.

We came to Z Tejas to enjoy being near the water & were rewarded with a perfect table. However, there was little welcoming of guests at the restaurant. It being a Mexican place, I expected at least an offering of chips & salsa- when I asked, I was told I'd have to order this. We both chose fajitas w/ chicken & again, maybe in an effort to save money, there was no guacamole served with the main course , which in my Mind was an omission of note. So we ordered guacamole & found the sautéed vegetables to be somewhat overcooked & the meat dry. I'm disappointed because this restaurant was my choice since I'd enjoyed good food & a welcoming atmosphere there- but several years ago. Management must have changed.

The bartender was amazing! I had the hard day margarita because it's been a hard day! It did not disappoint. She also reminded me that I never ordered food because I was TIRED! THANKS!
