“I typically recommend it as this place has good food and the service has always been good but last night we went for dinner and I have to say, I was very unhappy. The server did a good job and the food was good but it all came at once! We ordered a cocktail, I went to the restroom and when I got back to the table, the appetizer, salads, and dinner were all there! The table was completely covered with food. I was mortified! By the time we got to our dinner, it was cold. Hindsight being 20/20, I wished we would have asked the restaurant to take away the main course until we were done with our appetizer and salads. The part that annoyed me most was that the staff that brought the food (which wasn't our server) didn't think anything of it. Do I have to tell the server at every dinner that I would like to eat my food in courses, not all at once?“
“I know Gunny from Warrior Healing Center - Veteran Owned Business network. A colleague of mine is retiring, and we decided to have his luncheon at Gunny's BBQ. AMAZING venue! Easily fit our party of 40 and the food was cooked to perfection! I asked several people how they liked the luncheon and I heard many raves for Gunny's food and location. I know of several who will be coming back to check out Gunny's Sunday menu to include myself! Outstanding business from beginning to end. Thank you Louie for an excellent experience!!! :)“
“Recently stopped here for dinner. I had the two meat plate consisting of brisket and jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage along with creamed spinach and corn bread. For dessert I had the pecan pie. The brisket left a lot to be desired, it lacked flavor and was very dry. Now the sausage.... That my friends was on point!!! Very good!! That alone was worth the trip. The corn bread was moist and flavorful. The creamed spinach was a limited time offering, but I think it could be a regular menu item. It was very good. The pecan pie was good as well. Overall, not bad. The place is a little bit dingy looking and could use a little cleaning.“
“Had this place for the first time. The food was good and affordable the amount of food you get is definitely worth it. ? the restaurant was clean and service was quick. They had the lights off in the dinning room not sure why. I mean it was kinda nice to eat without so much brightness but some people might not like it. But all in all a good place for a good meal. Better money spent here then at some fast food joint. Good job!“
