The restaurant has a nice view of the Catalina mountains from the bar. The Friday fish & chips were excellent. The service was excellent.

My husband and I ate and Tandem today and it was delicious! We order the beef wellington appetizer, black and blue burger, and the Tandem toast. Everything was great but the beef wellington was amazing! It was flakey and the sauce was so good! When we ordered the burger our waitress said that the chef was trying out deepfried avocado on the burger and asked if we would like to try it. I can't eat avocado but my husband said it was delicious! Our waitress, Magen, was great! She was very pleasant and had great suggestions for us. My husband had their monthly rotating sour which was the Orange Julius Sour. It was really unique and tasted like orange juice. The inside of this restaurant is classic looking but feels a little barren. Maybe after they have been open for a while they will add more art or something. If you are on the Eastside, I highly recommend trying Tandem!

The fries are great, and my husband loved his burger. My salad was just sad. Not crisp greens, and bad tomatoes, with avocado just thrown on top with some dried out cheese shreds.

overpriced burgers. we waited about 45 minutes for our food. don't order the flour less mocha torte--it's a brownie mug treat with a markup and very sad whipped cream.

I want to like this place, but many of the specials are completely inaccessible to those who don't eat meat or dairy. For example, the date night special for Thursday doesn't get any dairy free options at all.Look, this is par for the course here in Tucson, but one of these days I wish I could have a "date night special" with my wife. Who can't have meat or dairy. All in all, I really want more veg options in a local diner. We're already excluded from 90% of Tucson eateries.Vegetarian options: There are maybe one or two vegan options that are never on any special and cannot be used with the date night promotion. They don't care for vegetarian folks.

The food is amazing and the portions are ample. Nice variety of craft beer on tap. Not very busy on a Saturday night yet server seemed overwhelmed. No printed kids menu. Seating is not very comfortable.

I am not from Tucson, so I kind of chose this place at random. I had the spinach salad and the lobster roll. The salad was super fresh, and the lobster roll was life-changing! The server was really sweet and helpful. I will be back.Vegetarian options: I saw some vegetarian apps and pastas on the menu, and some other dishes that would be easily made vegetarian.

We have taken friends there several times, and everything was always great. The menu is wonderful, and the food is always outstanding. Service is as good as everything else. I recommend Tandem to everyone I know.

We just tried this new North/East eatery and Loved it! What a pleasant surprise that a fairly casual place and menu, would also have some amazing higher end options like Mushroom Sacchetti (with short rib) and Wellington. The spinach salad was also great and quite big.The bartender made a good Rye Old Fashion (albeit with a bit too much ice) and the beer and wine selections were great. I wish we saved room for deserts but we honestly couldn’t even finish our meals we were so full! Our server, EmilyC, was excellent! Can’t wait to go back!VictorB

Recently ate here on a whim.Wait staff were extremely kind and provided appropriate help and service. We asked for recommendations on a meal and they recommended we try something with their house smoked bacon. We opted to split a burger, which they cut and plated as two plates kindly. The burger was very juicy, the bacon fell apart like brisket and was flavorful. Nice fresh ingredients. Fries were great and thankfully the truffle oil was not too heavy. On recommendation we were able to try both the Mousse and Apple Pie desserts. Both were impeccable. Fluffiness and flavor of the chocolate mousse was amazing, and the crispy cinnamon sugar crust, and cooked just right apples were both tremendous.Im excited to return and try more fare. This place is great and the staff are amazing, definitely recommend.
