“Great pizza! Loved the flavor, toppings, and crust. Only complaint is they close at 5pm. Would have liked to eat dinner there. Instead we got pizzas to go just before closing and ate at home.”
“Nice little bar to stop on a hot day and get a cold beer. They don't serve food but the atmosphere was kinda cool. Very laid back place. Bartender was on point!”
“This was our first taste of AZ wines and what a treat! We did the regular tasting and we were so impressed with the quality and taste of the wines. Then we tried the mead and the cider. We bought a bottle of each and brought it home. The cider was fantastic with a charcuterie board! I highly recommend taking time to sit outdoors. They have some very clever seating with great views. It was a little too windy the day we were there and we had just finished a hike on the AZT, so we elected to stay inside for our tasting.”
“Killer food, great people. Had the patty melt and it was fantastic. Also one of the better breakfast burritos I’ve had in a long time. Super huge and tasty. Dog friendly patio”
“I truly love Dos Cabezas and everything they have to offer. There are several wineries to choose from between Sonoita and Elgin, but none are quite like Dos Cabezas. For starters, they are very friendly and have top notch service. The ambiance, wine and large seating options both indoor and outdoor are just added bonuses. My favorite is to sit in their outdoor patio and take it all in while enjoying a bottle of wine and a delicious pizza or two from Pronghorn. Their outdoor patio is beautiful! I have never not had a great experience at Dos Cabezas which is why I will always come back and why I will always recommend them to my friends and family. Dos Cabezas and Pronghorn Pizza are a match made in heaven and I'm lucky I get to enjoy both!”
“Heard good things and wanted to check them out! Got greeted by Amanda and she was really knowledgeable and friendly. We got the wine tasting sampler with snacks paired accordingly and also got the cheese plate. Loved the sugar daddy wine the most and ended up buying a bottle to take home! Enjoyed seeing all the art and murals displayed inside and outside. Definitely recommend taking your phone in the bathroom for pics cause it's decorated so beautifully! It was so peaceful where we sat outside. So neat they had some farm animals on the property including Shirley a peacock that made it more of a memorable experience. Appreciate that it's a women owned business and definitely will be back when I'm in town!”
“Best bar I’ve been into in a long time! Traveled from Indiana, had so much fun with everyone. Prices were very reasonable! Felt like I was apart of the family! Food was fantastic also!”
“Lovely surprise in Sonoita! Great atmosphere and excellent food! I had the BBQ Chicken Salad and my husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger with baked potato. He rates his meal a ten! The dressing for my salad was delicious and the chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. Our waitress was a sweet, friendly girl named Aliyah who was very attentive. Smart girl with great plans for her life! Julie, who worked in the store next door, told us about the restaurant and introduced us to Bryce, the manager, who was was very nice, also. We parked our motorhome behind the gift shop. Lovely visit!”
“Legit Colorado style green Chile lots of choices for food all are so good, got a flight of Delicious beers and swallowed down a house margarita before a chilly motorcycle ride back to Tucson we will be back for sure!”
“Stumbled on this nondescript building a few years ago. In Sonoita there aren't many dining options. Figured a place called the Cafe would be a greasy spoon. Wrongo bongo. More like gourmet burgers with impeccable sides. Always busy & can understand why. Had a beer, burger & side combo. Pleasant staff & service. Great for a Sunday drive.”
“Food is pretty good. Dessert is fantastic! But not many options besides sandwiches and wraps for lunch though. Prices where pretty reasonable. Chairs there pretty uncomfortable as well. Overall good but needs better seating and more lunch options.”
“Great local beer and wine garden with excellent selection. They also sell single cans and other drinks. Outdoor space and music turn this into a great hang out. Really adds a lot to community: nothing like this for miles.”
“What an incredible spot! Beautiful views and even more beautiful wine. We had a tasting that was sensational! I especially enjoyed the love muffin. The staff were lovely and the service was exceptional.”
“after kayaking ar Parker Canyon, my boyfriend and I stopped in. great atmosphere, delicious strawberry pear cider! went home with a 6 pack. we will definitely be back!”
“We loved our tasting experience at Sonoita Vineyards. We’ve been able to visit 10 wineries in the area so far, and Sonoita Vineyards has the best wines! Their grounds are beautiful. Love being able to go into the barrel room! Very cool. All around great experience. Will definitely visit again when in the area!”
“So, I'm giving this 5 stars because having run small businesses I know the what it takes to keep the doors open in a small place. Disappointed the first day we went to get a sandwich because they were out of meat. So we bought some bakery goodies and came back the next day. Staff were super friendly. Please stop in when you are in town!”
“Karyl and Kevin are great people to know. Very welcoming and friendly. Karyl is the wine maker and I enjoy most of her incredible wines. She has whites, reds and a rose, 3 sangrias (my favorite is the Arriba with prickly pear, passion fruit and a hint of jalapeño), and multiple flavors of port.”
“Beautiful restaurant with a boutique attached. I really wished I had taken pictures. The owner is very attentive to her guests. The staff was pleasant and efficient. I recommend anyone visiting Patagonia AZ make it a point to stop by The Velvet Elvis at La Mission.”
“My wife and I drove from SLC to Green Valley, AZ for a two week vacation. We were visiting my sister who lives in the Quail Creek Resort development. When talking about interesting things to do in the area, she mentioned wine tasting. I had no idea there was a wine industry in the deserts of souther Arizona and was very skeptical.I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Flying Leap Winery in Elgin, AZ. The estate tasting facility was beautiful. The Sommelier was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Best of all, the wine was phenomenal! We bought by the case and left with over $2,000 worth of some of the best wine I've ever enjoyed. If you like Cabernet and are looking for something really special, try a bottle of "Tennot."R. Eric Lewis”
“Little saloon that had great reviews so stopped by. We went in and sat ourselves. Nice decor. Placed our order and food came within 15 minutes.Heard Sonoita dogs were popular around here so tried that. It was nothing like what I heard which included corn and stuff. This had baked beans, onions and jalapeno peppers. For the price it was rather small.Mexican food was awesome. Tacos and enchilada combo was tasty and fresh. Would recommend.”
“Food was amazing and the waitstaff was even better. . Prices were affordable and the restaurant is clean and cute. We definitely will come back when we drive through”
“Great stop. The ciders are fantastic. My wife and I had the Chill Tango and the babu. Atmosphere is nice. The inside of the building and grounds are quite unique. Seating inside and outside.”
