So glad I tried this place! A pound of carnitas for $15 is a great deal, it's probably enough to make like 8 tacos, and came with salsa, onion and cilantro on the side. I also tried the carne asada and pastor tacos which were decent.
Very tasty carnitas. They also sell by the pound. There was already a lack of a nearby place in this area that sold some good Michoacán-style carnitas.The carnitas here are really good. Hands down the best carnitas Ive had in Arizona. Ive been to many Mexican restaurants in AZ that say they have Michoacán style carnitas, but I try them and notice that it’s not the case. The carnitas here are. The meat is tender and the cuerito is like butter.
