Micheal the manager on duty tonight sat and followed my girlfriend, her entire visit up and down multiple isles, and throughout the store. He sat and watched her like a creep, and followed her up to the self check out. i then called for corporates number after hearing about this and the same manager who watched my girlfriend proceeded to tell me theres no corporate number, and that he did not have a number he could give me.

We were purchasing 14 Hands for our upcoming wedding. Andrea, the liquor manager was so helpful and made a special order for us! She is helpful, so friendly and gives great advice! We highly recommend her.We also, wanted our picture on a cake. Angie did a fantastic job with the photo and the cake with the Chantilly frosting was fabulous! Would highly recommend!

My mom was seeking baby back ribs that were on sale. Our local one was out. Isiah took the time to answer my call and hold some for my mom. I took her down here to pick them up. Limit 2. She doesn't have a cell phone so she needed me to use mine for the (annoying I wish they did away with digital coupon.) She got her ribs. I couldn't get any for my household though since only I had a device with an app.

Great service and staff! Everyone is so nice and helpful. They serve a lot of seniors and they do it right. This is about the Safeway at 99 ave and Greenway in Sun City, AZ

Honestly one of the most awkward experiences at a safeway, my family drinks the Alkaline 88 water normally it is $4.99 but it does go on sale for 2/$6, the sign was literally under the bottles with the handle which is a gallon, they do have a smaller size that is 3liters . But the the tag was under the gallon bottles. So I grab a few go and check out and they ring up as $4.99 now this was on Wed evening 5/24 around 8pm, I tell the manager they rang up incorrectly, his response was then there not on sale, I tell him the tag says they are, he goes and checks takes his time, literally says no the sale is for the safeway alkaline gallons, I tell him again on the top shelf the tag is under the bottles I have, he says hes going to go check again, disappears doesnt come back or say anything, now im waiting at customer service so she can correct the price or refund the water, while customer service was helping someone else, I ran back over to take a picture to show the lady and guess what th sale tag is gone. This idiot went back and removed it, apparently it should if been under the 3liter bottles per customer service when she pulled up the add. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of this stores manager he was a older guy and worked in the evening and I am beyond disgusted with how I was treated and how they behaved. He couldnt even confirm the right water on sale, obviously someone messed up and put the sale tag for the wrong bottles, whatever no big deal but to act like im lieing and to purposely go back and remove it and disappear? I think you need to look into the type of management you have at this store in the evenings its a disaster and I truly hope this gets escalated because not only did they waste so much of my time, he purposely removed something and couldnt do his job to come back and say hey im sorry it was under the wrong item and honor the price or tell me the accurate size on sale, his go to was oh it was the safeway alkaline water, there are older members who shop here and I would hate to see how he interacts with them after my experience! Short bald maybe italian im not sure but I have never dealt with any crap like that, this is not a store I come to often and I will try my best to avoid it. I am still betond irratated by it because it was so unn and time consuming and by removing the sale tag it makes me look as though I was lieing! Of course I didnt take a picture of it to begin with because this water in the gallon has been 2/$6 many times so didnt think I would have to prove myself. Very unprofessional and immature managment and a weirdo at that.

Every time I go shopping at Safeway they change me extra because I'm elderly, yes you read it right I'm old and they see us coming... they are crooks. Always over charging me. I pay more every time I go home and my receipt they charge me double

Don't waste your time using their delivery service. Cost is outrageous for the lack of service you get. They don't bring half of your items - show up 4 hours late and still charge you the same fee. You are supposed to be able to communicate with the shopper especially if an item is out of stock. That doesn't happen and they ended up sending us 4 of same product instead of the 4 individual items we ordered plus they left off most of our order. This is the biggest ripoff and sad because this store caters to elderly who may have no other way to shop. Safeway you should be ashamed of your store!!!! They tell you to rate the shopper and the driver - then conveniently leave off the link to leave a review. I wish I could leave them a review less than not good.

The service around the store was great, first of all. Secondly- I had an issue with my payment card so I had to go outside to move funds around on my phone. No big deal, a little stressful yes but when I came back in to pay for my groceries I got attitude from the lady at the service desk, her name was Christy. The last place I should be getting attitude is AT the customer service desk. After spending over $100 she basically barks at me "what do YOU want"? The interaction was very unprofessional and I'll be shopping elsewhere after that. Train your people better Safeway.

So disappointed in them on Deli and cant get any hot food after work! I get there at 7pm and they tell me they close at 6pm! Who the hell closes that early?!

A great food store, service is fast and friendly and everyone is willing to help if you have a question. Masks are worn and required, carts are clean and at the ready. Meat department is helpful with requests, bakery and deli smell wonderful and shelves are always stocked and aisles clean and cleared. Prices are fair and parking lot is fair size.

Dayumm, Gina! I scored huge last night. The trick is to keep aware of their digital coupon offers. Yesterday, the perfect storm hit. I ended up saving 62% off the bill with all of the Half Off coupons I loaded. Half price amish country butter, english muffin bread, pineapple juice, cheese, tortillas, tortilla chips, with $0.88 strawberry clam shells and a $5 off $5 deal. Paying attention can pay off

The pharmacy is always so slow. Never have prescriptions done on time. They take forever to refill. Their staff is slow and not organized. Will take my business elsewhere.

Went in here today and decided to buy a Starbucks gift card, which I never buy cards. At the Starbucks counter there were only two of us in line and two clerks. All they were doing is visiting. Saw a display of cards so decided to just get one there. It said $10 on it by 4 which I took to mean you got 4 times rewards for it. To my surprise I was charged $40. When I questioned it she told me I would have to go to customer service. I walked ten feet to the customer service which was manned by Charlie. First she said I'll be right back. When she came back I explained what had happened and she said we don't refund on gift cards. No explanation. I got home and called to talk to the manager. After a few minutes he answers and I explained it to him. He said let me check. I was on hold for 21 minutes and 22 seconds when the connection was lost. I called back and was told he was outside. I am extremely mad about this, the $40 I had to spend but the lack of caring from the staff. I am usually in the store at least three times a week, but will not shop there again. Also when milk is on sale do you think you could have the coolers kept full. The last two times I was in you had to practically crawl in to get it if you even could. No clerks anywhere. There is only one employee there that impresses me and I think he is part time. His name is Tom something. And as long as I'm complaining...what is it with these employees who are outside with the carts? All I ever see is them doing is leaning against the building looking at their phones. Should not even be allowed to have them on their person during work hours. I'm done. I am not from San Francisco. This is the Sun City Az store on Bell Rd and and 107th Ave.
