We were warned about coming here for a meal but against the advice, we came anyway. Big mistake. I can't believe how we were treated and how bad the food was. Michael (the owner) and especially his wife were so rude... This place has a cool diner vibe but that is as far as it goes. Read the responses below from other bad reviews...What is amazing to me is that the owners are even rude on this platform. No apologies and no effort into saving their business... instead they take a defensive approach... Bad business model. I hate saying this, but if they close its because it was self inflicted.. Take your money and go to one of the other small eateries in town that would appreciate your business. This place does not appreciate their customers.

We visit Superior often to see friends and family and recently learned that many locals don't even visit this place (mostly because of the attitude of the owners). We experienced it first hand.. We recently stopped in and with a very short exchange, the woman owner has a really bad attitude. She was rude and short with us and after hearing how she treated the table next to us, we will not be coming back here. Too bad because (maybe with different owners) this could be a cool spot. The man owner also doesn't have much of a personality either... You'll never see him greet anyone... They've even made enemies with the other local restaurants.

Food was excellent. I had a cup of chili and my wonderful husband had a Ruben with fries. The fries were fresh made from real potatoes, the sandwich was stacked with corned beef and sauerkraut and rye bread was fresh. My chili was also delish. Service was prompt and the place was clean and neat. It’s an old school diner so it’s ambiance is booths and juke box! We left with dessert to go as we were both full… so the pecan pie and red velvet cookie were our drive home snack! Thanks for a yummy lunch!

What a pleasant surprise in Superior! A group of us were in Superior for a weekend getaway and had the opportunity to eat at this lovely restored diner/cafe. The staff and owner were very friendly and the food was hot, fresh and very tasty Would definitely recommend a stop here!

Charming 50's style diner, lots of amusing signs on the walls. Very good food, especially the burgers and onion rings! Good value.

This place is so neat, not overly done in the Happy Days vibe from stuff at Hobby Lobby( which I still love!) but more like the real deal old diner. We were there on a Sunday morning for breakfast and it was fresh, served hot. Nothing too fancy, I had French toast, and loved every bite of it! Service was quick and friendly as well.

Everything is wonderful with the exception of the Iced Tea. It is instant rather than fresh brewed or sun tea.

My husband and I took a road trip today and went through Superior for a lunch break after hiking at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. When trying to find a place to eat, we usually try and observe where the locals go. Miners on Main was an excellent choice. We had The Outrigger and The Basecamp Melt with 1/2 TNT fries / onion rings... both very delicious. Highly recommend eating here! Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is an immaculately renovated diner - you won't find another quite like it anywhere. I had a wonderful breakfast and plenty of great coffee, and enjoyed talking with the owners. I'm looking forward to having lunch there when I return to Superior. This would be a great stop for a meal before or after visiting Boyce Thompson Arboretum, just a few minutes down the road. They are usually open five days a week for breakfast & lunch, so just check their hours. If you find yourself in Phoenix it's only about an hour away.

Today we took your family to Miners on Main for lunch. I have written favorable reviews on the place in the past. Today the food, fries, burgers and Philly was very cold. My fries and onion rings were ice cold covered in soaking lukewarm gravy. My granddaughter salad ordered with no tomato’s came covered with chopped tomato’s. The bread on the two chicken salad sandwich was so old and dry it was not eatable. We talked to the owner and his response was a new cook and they were busy and have a good day. My advice is stay out of this place. Almost two hours to order and finish service.

I had saved a newspaper article about this place and I finally got there! A nice 30 mile drive from our place. Supposed to open at 10, but door still locked at 5 after. Loved the decor and music! Unfortunately on Sunday we only had a couple of breakfast choices instead of the full menu. The home fries were really good. Would have been fun to sit outside but it was rather windy. Our waitress, Chiara, was a sweetheart. Will definitely go back!

The decor here resembles a quaint 50's diner with indoor and outdoor dining. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. A group of us have eaten here twice and the food fell short both times. Their "soon to be famous" fries were overcooked and we had to leave most of them. My burger (which I had requested not be seasoned) came with seasoning on it and the cole slaw had an odd taste to it. Hopefully the food taste will improve as we would hate to see this restaurant fail.

Last time in Superior a few years ago could be summarized as nothingville. This time a pleasant surprise with a boutique store, great restaurant, and grocery store deals. The Miner on Main was a superior surprise. Nice layout, interesting menu, and superior chili. Next time will try the hot dog. It’s across from the Magma Hotel, and next time will also visite that hotel that has recently been refurbished.

Stopped by for breakfast after a hike outside town. They've been open 6 mos. or so. This was a thursday. Clean well organized place. Can get busy on the weekends and the warmer months. I had an omelet with home fries. It's a build your own omelet. You can make it basic or load it up. Anything from Spam to mushrooms. My better half had eggs Benedict. Both plates were well prepared. Omelet, though loaded up, wasn't gooey but done just right. I also had some Ghost cheese on it. It'll get your attention. My better half had the aforementioned eggs Benedict and she said they were perfectly done. Home fries were hand cut and flavourful. Coffee was decent. Granted these are covid times and during the week. So it was pretty quiet. Coffee was good. They do have out door seating but the wind was whistling and a bit cool. There was still some snow in the hills nearby. Wait staff, the owner, very friendly and attentive. Though she said they can get busy on weekends. Hours vary. It's a diner style place. Lunch menu looked good though we were here for breakfast.
