I love clam/seafood chowder. I have it everywhere I go - from Alaska to the Canadian Maritimes. I lived in New England for awhile so I definitely consider myself a chowder snob. The seafood chowder at the Irish Wolfhound is the BEST I have ever had! I brought my husband (who always says everything is just "ok") to Irish Wolfhound and he took one bite and agreed - it was awesome. We had the lunch special fish/chips and it was a huge piece of fish that was very ,very good. It's a Notre Dame and Packer bar so that's a plus too. And they know how to pour a Guiness!! We will be back.

Ate there tonight 4/25 and everything was cooked incredibly well. The corned beef was amazing in texture, the tenderloin was tender, but to me the impressive part is the vegetables, the cabbage was tender but not mush, the green beans/carrots/celery side dish was cooked perfectly. To me a lot of restaurants overlook the veggies because they get plated whenever the the protein is done regardless of if it's under or over cooked. This wasn't the case for these dishes, it was all really really well cooked. The chowder was also really great, our 9 year old devoured it.

Food is good when cooked properly. I’ve sent back my order twice because they don’t know how to cook a steak. The man bun bartender is ignorant and honestly with his attitude should not be in the service industry. I would avoid this bar at all cost. New Irish pub coming to surprise soon.

Always great service. Awesome food.Sometimes it take a little while to get an order in but that's because they are always busy. I never mind the wait because the food more than makes up for it. Plus the friendly staff makes everything worthwhile.

Is this who you are??? Not caring about how your business should be definitely as a restaurant... food just sitting around on the filthy floor and out for hours is beyond gross. CUSTOMERS and WORKER'S deserve cleanness. Stop being just about money and learn to use it for your business looks so terrible.

I can't comment on atmosphere, we take our food to go normally. We LOVE Fish and Chips and the fact that they serve it in a box as opposed to a plastic or styrofoam container. The portion sizes are good. That being said, it is a bit greasy. We've had it more than once, same. If they can get that figured out I would surely try again??

The food was fair, the service was horrible! We were seated in the very back behind the bar even though there was open seating nearly everywhere. Dishwashers and servers dumped all their utensils, napkins, etc. at the end of on our table. I was disruptive and rude! Don’t waster your time or your money!!
