have enjoyed red eagle tortillas previously but had never bought them fresh from the factory at dysart and grand. decided to stop in and check it out. looked like they were closed. saw a lady sitting at a table piled high with paperwork and junk. most of the lights were off and the place was a real mess. freezers full of frozen tortillas and tamales, etc. was planning to get some tamales but they were frozen solid and had been there a very long time. tortillas too. noticed the posted price $45/dozen tamales. decided not to take a chance and left. lady at the register was not happy when we left without buying anything. dont know why this place is even open. we wont be back.

My husband was addicted to their yellow corn tortillas since like the year 2000. When he lived with roommates in early 2000's, they used to buy like 10 packs a week. They would warm them up on their coil burner stovetop in the apartment. The smoke detector will always activate because they loved them crispy & burned ??.Then suddenly Food City no longer carries them.?

Still the best tortillas in town, I drive from lake pleasant to pick them up. Their are quirks, you have to call before you pick them up to make sure they have them and how many, we usually buy 20-30 packs and they don't seal them as well as they used to. So I bring them home and put them in ziplock gallon bags then freeze them. But for me the lites are with it.

Love the tortillas. They are the best that I've ever tried. However the place is a dump.

What a disappointment! Expensive 35 dollars a dozen and the tamales were frozen. No taste.

Wow the quality, cleanliness, and service have completely gone downhill. Used to love buying my masa for tamales here as it was very flavorful, perfectly seasoned, didn't need anything. The restaurant was clean, great service. Now you walk in, restaurant is closed, the store is dirty, dusty, poor service, everything in boxes. Masa when I picked it up 3 days later was super runny, too sweet, not good at all. Had to mix it with other masa to get it right. Guess not shopping here any more. Too bad, used to be a great place.

Full disclosure . I did not buy anything. But once I walked into this establishment I was immediately turned off. Most of the lights are off , there's a table with misc items in the middle almost looks like a hoarding situation . The tortillas were all pretty hard . And the tamales looks like they have freezer burn . I was afraid to ask how old the tortillas and tamales are.

Lived in the area 25 years and always heard of the tamales here.Hmm, well visually walking in, looks like an abandoned building.Inside, it liked they are hoarding a bunch paperwork. Lady was probably tired so she wasn’t in a pleasant mood.Tamales, the red chili beef is good, masa too salty for me. Price $35 dozen cookedOuch ?

Best tortillas and tamales ever. I also use their mass for my homemade Christmas tamale gifts which turn out fantastic. Do yourself a favor as well as help a local business by buying at their store. Nice people.

By far the lowest quality tortillas I've ever purchased. Horrible, I was going to throw them in the trash immediately but I think I will gift them in place of a lump of coal for my friend who recommended this place. Don't waste time or money at this place

Disappointed ? in the product (corn masa for tamales) I purchased. Did NOT taste like corn at all. I mixed all the proper ingredients that I normally use every year, I only made one dozen to try out the product and ended up throwing the rest of my product away. Tried to contact the company to request a refund but they don't open on the weekends which makes no sense because a lot of working people can only make them on weekends.

Great tortillas when we can get them. Too bad it was closed during business hours. Next time.

These are the best flour tortillas in town, period! They are real hand stretched tortillas with no preservatives like the glossy mildew smelling one's that you are now finding in the stores and even most of the restaurants. They even have the toasty birth mark's on them from the griddle like a "real flour tortilla" to prove it. Also if you didn't know the manufacturers have to pay for flooring in a grocery store which is why you'll find the Hostess rack over by the greeting cards in a Frys instead of where it should be with the other donuts & cake snacks. We all know our options and if we lose the lady at Red eagle who's still carrying the torch for us then we're doomed. My advice, make the drive and let her know that she is very much appreciated no matter how much she raises her prices to keep the place going.
