I always use the drive thru. Since they have a new gentleman operating the window it's been an easier ordering experience. As of the past 6 mo or so the huevos rancho breakfast platter has been great just like my husband likes it with the corn tortillas under the veggie mixture and eggs. We have always said we liked going there, but it was hit or miss, but as of late it's been great.
Rivas is always a hit or miss, they're either really good, or really nasty. I guess it depends who the cook is. Same with the drinks too, sometimes the Horchata can be made perfectly, or sometimes it's watery, you taste more water than horchata.

I went today on taco Tuesday and I won’t go back. I ordered 6 beef tacos rice beans and a California burrito. The California burrito, rice, and bean were good. But I got the tacos and the meat taste weird, there is barely any meat on the tacos, barley any cheese, No tomatoes. It was basically lettuce. I use to go to Rivas a lot and now it’s so different. Like I spent so much to eat nothing.

Says they open at 6. No response to the drive through at 845 am, cardboard covering the windows. If I was the owner I'd be very upset at lazy employees costing me money.

Ordered three things and don't make any changes but didn't get anything I ordered. I was also the only one in there at 645 on a Saturday night. Honestly sound call the health inspector after watching them take orders and touching money then going back to cook with no gloves or hand washing.... Don't waste you time or money.

This place used to be ok, but now it’s just terrible. Idk if they owners just don’t eat the food here, but it’s gonna way down hill and the staff is so rude. Couldn’t imagine entering the serving industry and knowing nothing about service. Seems like more and more the surprise restaurants just do care anymore. Sad that I have to drive a town over to feel like my money is well spent. SMH..oh and the hot sauce is probably the worst thing about this place. Just disgusting.

A close friend of ours threw a birthday party for his wife and the original catering company never showed up. In a panic we started calling around to see if any Mexican restaurant would be willing to save us and help us feed 40 hungry people. The owner of Rivas accepted the challenge and asked for an hour to get it all done. When we arrived to pick up the food we were shocked to see ONE man in the kitchen cooking up an absolute storm. His nephew was working the front counter but this man made all of our food in under an hour by himself. It was absolutely incredible to watch. We had three trays full of meat, a tray of beans, a tray of rice, fresh tortillas, multiple containers of salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and any other toppings you could imagine. He was so gracious and kind and we thanked him profusely for saving the party. The food was delicious and everyone was so impressed at how well it turned out. Rivas will always have my business now. Not only do they make amazing food but the staff is amazing too.

Man taking our order was as unfriendly as possible. Seemed like he had something to get back to. Food is terrible. I mean, really bad. These are the worst enchiladas I've ever had. I asked for extra sauce and it's like they barely splashed any sauce in these at all ... Or they have just been sitting there all day and dried up. Speaking of dry: the chicken is so hard from being dried out, it stands up in its own. I would post a picture, but can't figure out how. The beans and rice have NO flavor. I spent $50 on a meal that nobody can eat because it's disgusting. Won't be going back and I'm hoping others won't waste their money. We should have gone to Filibertos.
