Americana has been a staple in my bar scene rotation for the last few years, especially for my beer league kickball team. When you start coming around frequently, you get to know the staff really well and they treat you more than better. On any given weeknight during the school year, you're gonna see a blend of Sun Devils and locals, and more Sun Devils the later in the night you stay. Americana is really good at hosting UFC fight nights with their good food and drink specials. Service can be a little spotty, but I'd say this is due to packing the house full. They have an unlimited mimosa brunch on the weekends- the servers come around with pre-mixed pitchers instead of making your own. The brunch food isn't anything too fancy but it's good. The highlight on the menu are the wings- they're the best thing on the menu as I believe they smoke them before doing anything else. Really bomb dot com sauces perfect them!

For a burger joint their burgers are NOT good! It's really sad this place is a great location on Mill ave, but they desperately need a new menu and new cooks... I ordered the jalapeño Popper burger medium and the burger came so well done it was crumbling. Also the burger had a brick of cream cheese (like come on! You couldn't of melted it or just spread it on the bun?) the jalapeño on the burger was just cut in half and placed on the burger ( not cooked and with seeds. Wtf) the only thing that tasted good was the onion straws. As we sat and ate our meal the service was so bad there was 5 families that sat down and LEFT! My bf's burger was so bad he only could eat half! We both had stomach aches later that night.. please don't eat here. There are SO many better places on Mill.

I don't care if it's a Thursday. You don't a charge cover when your restaurant is empty! lol Burger was gross, wings were dec, nachos were good. Everything was overpriced, except the wings.

We are from out of town for spring training. We got to Americana at noon for a quick breakfast before a 1 pm baseball game. Took about 10 mins for a waiter to even acknowledge us after we flagged her down from across the patio. We ordered drinks and food right away. 20 mins later still no drinks and 50 mins later still no food. We inquired about the food and were told it would be another 20-30 mins since our order was still at the end of the queue. We asked to cancel the order and just pay the check, which took another 10 mins to come. Clearly making food is not their forte.

This place seemed really cool. Was pumped to come check it out. I come here with my dogs to chill on the patio and they have the outside bar closed on a Saturday...... WHAT!!!
We came here because it was empty, and we were hungry. And now we know why it was empty.. first the hostess wiped down our table with the worlds wettest, nastiest towel, then sat us in that swap. Took forever to be greeted by a server, and again, it was NOT BUSY. Ordered an omelette..it had two slices of unmelted deli cheese it, disgusting. It was like chewing rubber. The nachos..had what tasted like week old ground beef in them, with hardly any cheese.. I could go on about the rest of the food, and foul tasting water, but it's too painful to re-live. Maybe food isn't why people come here, and it's just for college students who want to drink. But if you want leave feeling grossed out, and hungry. This is your spot.

If I could give this place no star I would. I had the huevos rancheros with green chili pork. Disgusting. The tortillas that came with my plate were so hard I felt they heated them up from a day before. The food was nasty. Sorry not sorry I'm just being honest. I wouldn't go back here even if it was for free!

I had an amazing experience last night. Our server was very attentive and took care of us like family. The MacAndCheese was extremely thick (Only Downside- I had 3 bites ) but tasted great! I ordered the MagicShroom&Swiss Burger with a bed of French fries. The burger and fries were hands down amazing and I’m not one to finish a burger- Cleaned my plate ! Great Job Guys, Keep working to perfect the Mac and it’ll fly off the shelves . Thanks again !
