Love getting the honeydew milk boba. They are really good at giving recommendations as to what pairs well together if you are a bit intimidated with all the combinations. I don’t think the milk tea has lactose if I’m not mistaken which is a plus for me. Super friendly people, and terrific location.

We’ve been here before and had good experiences but today’s was weird enough to make us not want to go out of our way for Bobazona anymore. I’m a more avid boba drinker than my husband and while trying to decide what to get, the staff member behind the counter made a bit of an off putting comment but I was willing to brush it off. I ordered a drink with brown sugar boba and got a drink with crystal boba instead, even though my husband and I clearly remember me saying brown sugar. The weirdest though was that I had two stamp cards that combined would have made a full card and I offered them before we paid but the staff member said it was too late for me to use my free drink. No indication as to why, we just couldn’t. He combined our cards but then didn’t give us stamps for the drinks we were currently ordering. There’s a lot of boba in the valley, no need to go out of our way for this one.

Bobazona is the new kid on the block at the Tempe Square Shopping Center. Nestled between Sacred Pi and Polish me Pretty, Bobazona promises a welcome change of offerings to the area as the next closest Boba shop is almost a mile away for some and more than 5 miles for others.I tried a signature drink, the Black Sugar Latte (along with ordering 5 other drinks) and I added regular Boba, an in-house made raspberry shortbread cookie and strawberry shortcake gelato. The latte was very well made and pleasantly smooth. To say I was underwhelmed by the boba is an understatement. I came home and strained out the boba so that I could enjoy the rest of my drink. The texture was stiff, rubbery and inedible while also being bland. The shortbread cookie was fresh, crumbly and its sweetness was balanced. The gelato was not gelato. It was heavy and tasted freezer burnt.The staff seemed frazzled, confused and stressed. One employee did tell me about 4-5 times that they were new.I’ll return and try other drinks as the other drinks in my order were definitely enjoyed! I’ll definitely get the latte again, sans boba.

Been going here a couple times when I'm in the area. The workers here are very knowledgable and nice! Their drinks are amazing, my go to is the CPR with either regular boba or lychee jelly, but if you need help deciding, dont hesitate to ask one of the workers! It's just a nice store and atmosphere. Perfect place to study at because they offer WiFi!

We made a special outing to try something new. I can only speak for the Gelato, I did not try anything else. It just didn't wow me. A great Gelato is just that, taste is amazing. This was nothing special. Not soft to hard spoon broke, no flavor just not good. The spoons get rid of them today dont serve another customer with those spoons. The cheapest spoon couldn't pick up a wet noddle with it. You sign I hope you have lights in it. It looked as the place was closed, almost went home.It's a very nice place insid and it can be wonderful, the owner needs to make an effort. It didn't help the only person working is hiding in the back and we had to call for her to come out. If she had work to do in the back, have a second person to greeting the customers.$15 for two cups OMG ?
