Casey, the first bartender I met here, is a gem – her kindness and skill create a welcoming atmosphere that initially kept me coming back. Seriously, had it not been for her, I’m not sure I’d have come back.The there’s Tyler, the GM, who runs the show with attentiveness, ensuring a fair and positive vibe for both staff and patrons.Tyler, another bartender, is a constant source of laughs with his jokes, making every visit light-hearted and enjoyable (check out his ice fr)…Brittany's vibrant energy adds a lively touch, making the bar area fun and inviting. Jared, another diligent bartender, not only serves with precision but also saved my b*tt on a sports-themed crossword.And let's not forget Matt - braving through every Thursday karaoke night of college kids and off key singers with levity and professionalism, just proves Boondocks Tempe is the SUPERIOR Boondocks.The entire staff, including these amazing individuals, makes sure everyone feels safe, included. It's not just a bar; it's the local watering hole this side of Tempe needed - filled with positive vibes and great people! ?Also: the food RIPS, 10/10 best chicken strips this side of Tempe Town Lake!

I’ve been coming here since they first opened. Why? Well, first and foremost , the staff and owners are amazing people. Friendly and not in a superficial or fake way. They have a solid selection of local beers as well as the usual suspects (Cooers, Guinness, Bud) I personally recommend Church Music on draft. The food is also well above your usual bar food quality. The Sin Burger is ???. The atmosphere is really great too. Chill and low key during the day and popping during the night, but not to an obnoxious level where it’s miserable or you wait 30 minutes for a beer. I’d fully recommend coming on a Thursday night for karaoke or on a night when they have a live band playing. If you become a regular here, trust me, the bartenders and owners definitely take care of you, not to imply that you won’t get top notch service on your first visit. I plan on being a regular here till till the end.

Love this place! Staff is friendly! My buddies and I love watching the UFC fights here. They have pitchers of beer with local drafts, Juicy Jack is my favorite beer they have.
I always love to come see the UFC fights here. Lots of TVs with a huge TV in the patio. Great place to gather with friends they have draft beer And a large menu.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower wings
I've been there twice about 6-8 months apart. Both times, the service sucked and the bartender and other staff were extremely rude.You couldn't pay me to go back there.I've never had a problem with any other bar/restaurant the way we did here.Never again!!!!!!!
A favorite of mine. The ladies r very happy n energetic. Live music, just the right environment for football. Enjoy the cold adult beverages.

boyfriend and I went in yesterday. We came for happy hour and some food. I ordered my food first and when my bf ordered his food it never came and the bartender Casey never rang it in. whatever we work in the restaurant industry we get it. but there was 6 people in the whole place including us two. so dont know how that slipped through the cracks. we ended up being charged regular prices for drinks even though we drank everything in the happy hour menu and time limit. I wanted to complain but my bf said no he doesnt want to cause a scene. Still tipped 20% but my boyfriend did go home hungry. We will return but keep your bartenders in check please

Family and I had so much fun watching the game. So many different TV's in all areas made it easy to watch the fights and the games at the same time. Bartender (wish I remembered his name) was cool and picked a new whiskey drink I've never had, that we all loved. Definitely a chill spot.
