Lackluster and overpriced food. I had to ask for my table to be cleaned. It was sticky and had food residue from previous guests. I sent dirty dishes back to the kitchen. Aa $100 lunch for three should have been much better.

"Culinary Dropout" might as well be the poster child for the quintessential cool, hip eatery that every college town dreams of. Located within a stone's throw of Arizona State University, this restaurant pulses with the vibrant energy of its young, eclectic patrons. The atmosphere is nothing short of electric, buzzing with the chatter of students and the eclectic soundscape of indie music and clinking glasses. The menu at Culinary Dropout is a delightful rebellion against conventional dining. Every dish feels like a creative experiment that’s succeeded wildly—comfort food with a gourmet twist that tempts the adventurous and satisfies the soul. From their perfectly crispy honey-drizzled chicken to the rebellious and rich pulled pork nachos, every bite is a testament to culinary whimsy. But let’s not forget the drinks. This place serves up cocktails that are as much a feast for the eyes as they are for the palate. Whether you're sipping a smoky whiskey concoction or a bright, herb-infused gin cocktail, each drink is crafted with the kind of flair that complements the daring dishes. In essence, Culinary Dropout is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination. It's where you go to unwind, feast, and enjoy the company of friends in a setting that's as lively and forward-thinking as its clientele. Whether you're a college student looking for a fun night out or a foodie in search of your next great meal, Culinary Dropout doesn't just serve food and drinks—it delivers an experience.

The food here tastes very good. I was very pleased with the taste and quality of my food. Our wait staff was very friendly and did anything she could to help us. The atmosphere was noisy and crowded, which I didn't care for. However, the live music was quite nice and not overwhelming to the point where we couldn't have a conversation.

Service was out of this world. Food was great. Highly recommend the chicken and biscuits for brunch.
Aside from the woman sitting next to us hair catching on fire... everything was amazing! Service was great, drinks were great, food was great, dessert was great... I'll head back to Tempe just to eat here! Also, that woman didn't appear to be harmed by the fire...
We had an amazing experience for both of our daughters birthdays ?
