The best service experiences we have ever had. We called ahead to see if they were pet friendly. Yes they are. Said they had a patio. We took our bulldog with us. They brought out water and some bacon for him. He was very happy. The food was perfect. Well be back again. . Thank you D.A.

Lance Laffoon bills people on his personal Venmo account for drinks & cover charges. There was no cover charge at first but when I got to the line he said there was a $20 cover & to Venmo his personal account or to give him cash to enter. Lance also told my friend to personally pay him for drinks so we could bypass the line and get it quicker. Very unprofessional and suspicious transactions with him.

Foods decent but waiter forgot things over and over. Asked for a specific game to put on, waited 15 mins didn’t turn it and had to ask again. Asked for tater tots, gave me fries and then asked to fix it, they forgot and I had to ask a second time. Didn’t check up on us once after we got our food. Needed water refill for a while and finally got one way later.

The place and the brew, food, staff, they were great. However-I went and did open mic comedy last night. And tbh im disturbed, I cant sleep. A bunch of people ended their bit saying "im gonna go home and commit suicide". Comics were heckling individuals in the crowd with unprovoked personal attacks, one of them even attacked me twice. I'd say its a miracle nobody died there last night. Its amazing there wasn't a fight. I feel really bad for the guy who was in charge of the show, because none of it was his fault and he was super cool, he's just trying to help people have a good time. Tempe sucks, the whole Sun valley is possibly the most messed up place i have ever lived. One of the guys they had announcing the comics kept making racist comments about Asians towards the end, he needs to be replaced and not allowed back, because he almost incited a fight, he attacked someone who didn't even deserve it too. And I remember who you are too, dude. Ill be back though if only to call people out and try to keep somebody from dying. I mean I get that its called devils advocate but this was beyond messed up, google doesnt even let me use the words I have for how I feel about it.

The Place was lit AF. Jennifer the bartender is amazing and the food was delicious. If you're in Tempe I definitely recommend The Devils Advocate! Will be going back for sure!

Security is trash and untrained. Was on my phone in the bathroom and was yelled at for holding up space and then forced to leave instead of asked. Security grabbed my shirt which ripped buttons and ripped my chain off. I was more than willing to comply but the security team has small egos and looking for a fight. Service and everyone was great as well as drinks but the same security guard all night long kept on pushing me out of the way and looking for trouble which he eventually found(forced).

I went here for the Super Bowl. Not only did our server forget to bring multiple things out. My friend who put her card down got charged for the missing items we never received. I paid my portion separately through our server which totaled around $30. I closed my bill and that was that. The next day I woke up to a charge of $144. Then the next day it went through as a charge of $103. This was after I talked with management, so that means they approved the incorrect charge. How this happened I have no idea! Since then I have been dealing with trying to get my money back. So far I only received a refund of $40, which is pretty far off. In my opinion I should receive a full refund for my troubles but I just want my money back that was wrongly taken from my account. I have been texting management and am no longer receiving responses. So if you want to get robbed go to Devils Advocate!
Must come! People like bartenders Dustin and Ben make the atmosphere pleasurable. Pool, shuffle board, and music are some of the greatest social atmospheres greatness here at devils advocate sports bar.Very lively and wonderful experience around hurry up and get over here!!

As a local, I love Devil’s Ad! Beware of going during the school year because that’s when all the Brads and Chads are there, but even then you might be able to find a table. Food is typical bar food. It’s usually pretty good with a good selection. Their wings with Sun Devil Gold sauce is my go-to. We’ve gotten a flat beer or two here but the staff usually takes good care of us even when it’s busy. I will say I think sometimes there are a bit understaffed, but kudos to the waitresses because they do their best. DA is a good place to catch any games too so I would recommend!

We come here all season long for ASU football games. Today is the day we've made our decision to take our regular business elsewhere.The service has continued to decline. Our server had no care in the world. Her service was so with no sense of urgency. Our drinks sat on the bar forever. My chicken tenders come out cold. Its not hard to make and deliver chicken tender. Fortunately my husband's taco were okay but needed hot sauce which she never came back to check on so he had he had to eat his tacos dry. I had to hand deliver my cold chicken tenders to her because I knew she wouldn't come back and check. When I gave her the cold chicken tenders and told her why I was upset she said absolutely nothing and had no care in the world. Absolutely disappointing. Considering the last time we were here. We had to walk out because we never got served. Whoever is the hiring manager here needs to rethink their position.
