Not recommended. Miso soup - sour. Salads - too much salt. Sushi and rolls - bland and not fresh. Service - they are trying but with attitude.

Great service excellent food! I just moved here from San Diego and was nervous about getting Sushi in a land locked state. I was so relieved when I found Dozo, not only was it fresh and yummy but the rice and saki were next level. I will be coming back soon to try more menu items! The staff were also super great and it felt very comfortable being there.

Excellent food and service. Even agreed to make is skewers though it was lunch and they aren't normally offered since they weren't busy.As many have said, they do not have a children's menu, but they catered to our daughter very well and she got to try some new foods. Not a bad a thing at all.

I walked in and was greeted right away by staff. All staff were super friendly and kept checking in on me throughout. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box with a California roll which included all of this. It was so tasty. I also ordered an iced green tea. I thought everything was great especially for the price and I will definitely be coming back.

The food is really good but the service wasn’t great. Everyone was really nice but I just Don’t think they had enough staff to meet the demand. I think next time knowing that I would just adjust my expectations and order differently. I would absolutely return but just know that things move slowly and leave time to be there a while.Kid-friendliness: There isn’t a kids menu but they have plain noodles and steamed gyzoa so plenty of options. They don’t have a changing table.

This is our goto when we get down to PHX. Such good food and superior service. They really look after you and make sure you know you are their priority. Get the Japanese Chx Katsu Curry!

The food is always immaculate, the staff more than kind and caring, and very accommodating of our large order of cold soba noodles at one time ?I would recommend them 12/10, it's a go-to for me and my husband and we haven't been disappointed by anything yet. Everything from the tea, gyoza, ramen, izakaya menu, and general vibes are great. Authentic flavors, and something for everyone to enjoy. As noted, the cold soba is a favorite, and if you go in summertime, you must try the Hiyashi Chuka (Cold Ramen). Their normal ramen (especially the curry ramen) is also fantastic. You really can't go wrong.Kid-friendliness: There are some pretty simple Japanese dishes that would be fine for a kids taste buds. (Simple but delicious)

Friendly staff. Quick service. But the teriyaki chicken in their lunch bento was dry and tasteless.
