I'm not sure how much inflation has increased in Phoenix since COVID, but I refuse to believe paying $10 for a milk tea is the norm. Yes, I ordered a drink on the expensive side, but with an average SMALL drink being $6.00+, I do not think this place is worth going to. I ordered the chestnut milk tea with cream and pecan. Starting price for a SMALL was 7.75. Add the size up(0.75), boba (0.75), and no ice (0.50) options and you get basically a $10 drink. Oh yeah, they also charge extra for sugar, like what???? And the drink was just a basic black milk tea with cream and pecan on top and roasted chestnuts inside. The drink was just mediocre at best, especially given the premium price. Although I shared a drink with my gf, we didn't finish it because we didn't think it was that good. Their boba is just okay, with it having a decent chew but lacking overall flavor. They weren't very sweet, and I would not recommend adding their boba to your drinks. The service is okay at best; the lady at the front seemed like she couldn't wait to go home. Although the interior is nice and reminiscent of HK/China, I honestly cannot justify any reason to drop double digits on a boba milk tea, when there are so many other places in Phoenix that offer the same quality drinks at a fraction of the price.

I am pretty picky when it comes to drinks, and Duplex's jasmine milk tea is my favorite. The flavor is just so much deeper than other boba places and they are open the latest! Duplex offers a wide menu, and I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of my drink, however, it is a more expensive option for boba. You'll usually find yourself paying anywhere from $6-$10 for a drink with toppings, but most of the time it is with the splurge.

Ordered one drink, gave us a beeper, 30 minutes later they said they forgot to make it and the rude worker said there’s nothing she could do. Asked for a refund and to talk to manager, she just turned and walked away. Rude!

Huge space for a milk tea store! Old time fashion you can tell from decorations and music here. Ordered HK style milk with less sugar and normal ice, decent taste. Cozy vibe and bright lights. It has a shelf of books for kids and several cubes to chat and play card games. This is a good place to hang out with friends for hours.

My friend recommended the oreo brulee matcha with sea salt cream. She said the other drinks were okay but this matcha drink was really amazing. I tried it and it was sooo good. Loved the thick cheese foam and I think matcha and oreo tasted so good together. Would definitely come again for this matcha drink.I also like the Hong Kong theme interior design.Edit: Changing from 5 stars to 3 stars. I think they have changed the recipe a little bit. It doesn’t taste as good as before. It’s less thick and they don’t put as much oreo.

Only one person working the entire shop with ten people waiting when we got there. Took 34 minutes to get my two drinks. One wasn’t even made correctly, the other one tasted awful. Boba was hard in the middle and tasted fruity. Sesame Street drink tasted like 1% milk and was missing the boba I ordered. 3/10
