Oh my goodness. The moment I was greeted with such loving "Southern Hospitality" when I walked in the door by Ms. Jasmine, I knew that though this was my 1st time dining in this establishment, it would be far from my last. the food is amazing. we are from louisiana and haven't found fried fish and hush puppies that are comparable in the valley - except for this place. we drive from Gilbert for it regularly. The only negative about the food is that they frequently run out of hush puppy batter. it's happened several times recently so you'd think they would adjust how much they make on Saturdays. the other negative is that the cook (who is awesome at the frier) is rude. when I asked about the hush...read full review

Staff was incredibly family and made us feel like we were at home. Food was delicious so we will definitely be coming back! The shrimp po boy was filling and the jambalaya was tasty!
