This is the best ice cream I have found in the valley! Favorite flavors so far are banana cream pie, brownie dough, buckeye (#1 fav), and coffee (tastes like a Starbucks frap) ❤️ Staff is efficient and clean! I’ve ordered cones, cups, and pints and the quality is always excellent. I’ve ordered at the window and online for pick up and they are so quick!

It’s just a walk up homemade ice cream shop. Made fresh daily and very rich and creamy. Lots of gluten free options. Prices are fair for homemade ice cream.

Very good ice cream, a lot of flavors to choose from. It can be confusing when your order is ready because they just call out what was ordered and we almost took a similar order to ours. Otherwise, I highly recommend - best dessert place at Tempe Marketplace.

As an Ice Cream lover, I was disappointed, I chose a brownie dough flavor, but it was unsatisfactory. There was no flavor at all. The ice cream had a taste of uncovered food that's been in the fridge too long. I really felt like I’m eating an ice cubes with sugar ??

I don't come to Tempe Marketplace often and had to lookup on the map where the Lululemon was, but what caught my eye - a homemade ice cream place (a non-Coldstone?) here? Hmmm. I took a pass by and one offering really piqued my interest for a little afternoon snack: an ice cream pop (scoop of ice cream dipped in chocolate, on a stick). I chose the vanilla pop although mint chocolate chip was a strong contender. Wow this little treat made me happy! Small but large enough to get a good taste of the ice cream. The setup of the place being so closed off with the 4 walk up windows was a little confusing. So many people were standing around waiting then I realized none of them were at the "order" window - did they already order? So I finally went up to window 1 and I guess so, no one yelled at me. Then luckily since the pop was already made I didn't have to wait with the masses! Next time I need to come to Tempe Marketplace, I'll stop by for the mint chip pop :)
Huge serving of delicious vanilla ice cream. Nice outdoor environment to relax with my dog to enjoy the ice cream.

I was so sad!!! I love Handle’s so much, but I was disappointed with the scoop sizes. Normally they are overflowing, but the night I took my friend, the scoops were tiny. Still delicious ice cream, but so sad about the quantity. It wasn’t what I know Handle’s to be!

We have been Handel’s lovers for years but today my wife ordered pints through DoorDash and the store was out of the ice cream she ordered. Instead of calling us, to ask and see what she’d like the employees decided to make their own substitution and leave us a note. She’s allergic to peanut butter and not able to eat the ice cream that these employees decided to give us without reaching out. We had to go through DoorDash for a refund then submit a new order and pay for additional delivery fees and a tip for the new driver as the store didn’t have anyway to get us the correct order without submitting an entirely new order or coming to pick it up ourselves. Extremely disappointed in the service and the additional cost associated with the employees actions, we will get Handel's in person when convenient but won’t be ordering delivery anymore (which is our usual method of ordering).
