My wife adored this place. She shared some of her crepe with me and I liked it too. I don’t think crepes are anything special, but they have an amazing selection if you are feeling experimental. Let me know

This place was an absolute dream! It had all the food I love and more. My friend and I were looking for a place to eat and she was craving Indian food and I was craving pizza, and to our pleasant surprise, found this place that has a variety of options, but specializes in Indian food. I had to try the Chicken Tikka pizza and it was delicious! It was freshly made and the chicken was tender and the sauce was a very flavorful, aromatic sauce. It was covered in mozzarella cheese that tied everything together. Also, the dough was fluffy and soft. My friend also enjoyed her order of butter chicken and garlic naan. There was also ice cream and cakes and other desserts available, which I'll definitely have to try next time. The customer service was good, my friend's order came out in 15min, but I think the pizza was being made fresh and came out 15min after my friend's order. The place looks very polished and clean and the lcd screens of the menus and the self-service station were nice additions to giving the place a modern look.

This was our first time at Pastries N Chat and it will certainly will not be the last. We were pleasantly surprised about so many things, the food was excellent, and plentiful, the service we received was beyond wonderful. I am sorry that I did not get front desk person name, he patiently explained all the dishes that we would get, and later explained the ones that were giving us all that heat, btw we loved the heat. If you love South Indian food, please do yourself a favor and try Pastries N Chat

The food here is overpriced and they give very small portions. I had the Pav Bhaji and it was a liquid soup that we drank with a spoon. They used to have the best pav bhaji so I don't know what happened. The Kati Rolls were good. The flavor is there but portions are minuscule. Not worth the $70 I spent for three people.

This is by far the worst Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Their average wait time for your orders is 2 hrs++, prepare for a dinner if you order lunch. A total disrespect to the customers time. What's worse is that, they have been shut down multiple times for hygiene violations by the city of Tempe, almost every year since the past 5 years. Go at your own risk.

Good food. Came out fresh and joy. Got the appetizer paneer, garlic naan and butter chicken. Naan was super soft and nice and hot! Magi lassi was delicious! Great service too!

Horrible service! We placed an order at 1 pm and they said you can pick it up in half hour. We reached the place at 1:50 and our order was still not ready. They said it'll take another 10 mins and we waited. We received our food at 2:30 pm. That too, they dropped the sambar they were supposed to give us and told that they do not have more. The least they could have done is called us in advance and informed that it'll take more time, or offered some sort of compensation. The girl at the counter was nice to people, that's the only nice thing I found here. There was no point in arguing with her, since the people in the kitchen have to make the food.About the food, we had ordered the boneless biryani and dosa. The dosa was good, but the biryani was just plain rice and chicken with an egg. The biryani had no flavor at all. That's something to avoid if you're eating here.

Order a .5lb box of mithai and this is what I get for $7. The chum chums literally did not fresh at all. Literally ripping you off

I really like the taste of Curries and Parathas at Pastries 'N' Chaat. But their service is really PATHETIC and SLOW. I have visited 2 times to dine-in and both times I had to wait for an hour after placing order. The guy at counter does not know how to prioritize orders and will eventually forget if your order was dine-in or to-go. I am no expert in business management, but no customer likes to wait for an hour to get their orders.

They got worse and worse over time. We ordered 4 things which took them 35 mins. We ordered for dine in but then they packed the whole order and it was cold by the time we got the order.Stale buns, overfried fish and really really rude lady behind the counter.

Have been going here for quite some time now. This is the closest to the Indian food I have had back home in India. A few of their dishes that I really like and regularly order are Vijaywada Biryani, Chicken 65, Kati Rolls, Chaat (all of them) and Lassi. The quality of their food is consistent which is what makes me a regular customer here.

Ordered their Hot menu item - Ginger Paneer. I got a fried paneer with god knows what covering, taste was average but it is not what I ordered. When I complained about it the Manager was arrogant to even come outside the kitchen to talk about it.

Loved the food here. Another great Indian place for foodies. I personally tried veg thali which was so good. Pani puri could be better. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but worth it. Should give it a try.
