I usually don’t post unless the experience was memorable. Well this one was and not for the right reasons.2 deal breakers for me returning even though Pier 54 has been a go to place for me and my family for the last 12-15 years.1. No options for the elderly. Most restaurants will let you order from the kids section - and there is only one kid’s option here. $15 chicken strips…. But if you are over 10 and order it - the price goes to $25 per the manager who called her boss to make sure that was the case. So my elderly mother chose not to eat at all instead of paying the outrageous price.2. After we paid our guest from out of town found a hair in her otherwise amazing burger. We didn’t say anything (point was moot at that point) but nevertheless it was a gross way to end the evening. Here’s the kicker. It was my birthday and I chose a place that has good food, great atmosphere and almost always excellent service. The ONE person who didn’t eat picked up the bill which is irony in my opinion. The staff did nothing wrong (except quality control for the hair). Since management chooses to essentially stand their ground on ANYONE over the age of 10 paying 67% more for the same chicken tenders…. They I chose to spend my time and future birthdays elsewhere. Even though it’s getting harder and harder to find good “mom & pop” type small businesses to support.Good luck to the owners and staff. We genuinely hope you rethink your policy.

Our first time with family was great! The food was delicious ?. Though service could have been better, we appreciated the atmosphere ? to relax with fresh breeze eating by the water. We will definitely come again. My husband chose the restaurant; I questioned at first, but I am glad he chose it. Every dish was very fresh.

Fun little place on the water. It is all outside, and we were there on a lovely evening with great weather. I got chicken skewers with french fries that were delicious.

Food was delicious, had to wait a little bit for it. Burger was suppose to have avocado on it and it didn’t when it came out. Also asked for ranch originally which needed to be asked for again when the food came out. Waiter came out with both and was super nice. Had to wait a while to get paid out. I especially came out for single ladies night which includes $4.50 cocktails. Ordered the mojito. Total for just the drink came out as $11. I asked why it wasn’t the special price and he said because I didn’t order it with well rum. No where on the menu does it say that you must order the cocktails with well. And he couldn’t take the price down to the special price. Bummer. Maybe put that rule on the menu? 3 stars because as a server myself I thought the server was nice but the service was slow on a slow night. Food was delicious but didn’t come out right at first. And the whole specialty drink price isn’t so special.

If you have asthma or don’t like cigarette smoke this is not the place for you. There is a non-smoking area, but it’s an open outdoor area and the smoke travels. There are fans but only one was on and not very effective. The food wasn’t worth the price but it was good. I ordered the Shrimp off the appetizer menu. I had 5 shrimp in some pasta sauce and 2 pieces of toasted bread for 18 dollars. The burger and fries were a little cheaper. Service was great and fast on a Friday night around 8pm. They do have a pet friendly area. The place is cute with covered patio areas and bar outside. It’s nestled in a neighborhood.Parking: Parking is ample.

The food was good but slow to get our order. Even the bar order was slow. Everyone was nice and pleasant though. The bathrooms are not in the restaurant but a little ways away and not too clean.

Service was SO slow. We were there with empty glasses for about 40 minutes. So we left. The server never checked on us and the bartender seemed like he didn’t care at all if people had drinks. We won’t be going back.

Tony was amazing. He was our server, fast and knowledgeable. We didn't have food, but had a couple drinks. Such a cool spot in an unconventional location.

Mixed feelings about this place.Definitely didn’t live up to the photos online …think beachside cottage type atmosphere over a luxury waterside experience. The food was excellent, the service impeccable. I would go again for the food.Where it fell short was hands down the music. It was a sort of quiet rainy day, 3:30 in the afternoon and we were in the mood to relax and look at the view..when we arrived right after they opened..some Van Morrison was playing and it was a perfect complement to the day. That was for 2 or 3 minutes then it was switched to loud rap, r & b, hip hop playlist.Everyone there was at least 50 plus, older couples, a family etc and it was just completely odd as whoever decided to switch the music up definitely didn’t read the room.We did hurry to eat and leave because we had a headache from listening to it.Rap music is definitely not our thing and it was far too loud. I can see where it might be appropriate at 10 or 11 pm but at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday, it was a lot.It also doesn’t fit this relaxing waterside environment they are trying to cultivate so this establishment would do well to decide what it is and what it wants to be.We did enjoy the food and the staff was excellent- however it definitely does need to be tidied up. The vase the flowers were in had dirty water, attracting numerous flies…the chairs etc could just use a good cleaning.

The cordon bleu was raw in the middle. Very raw. I changed my order but it didn’t arrive before my husband finished his meal even though I was told it would be right out. I took it to go. I ended up with the burger which was average. The manager took $3.50 off the bill which I think was ridiculously low considering our meal was ruined. There are much better places to spend $80.
