First time trying this place and I have to say it was delicious! Good prices and you get a big bowl of ramen. We loved the edamame and the chicken dumplings. My family and I really enjoyed it and the service was 10/10! I got the spicy miso with pork. Wasn’t spicy at all just had great flavor and pork was very tasty ☺️Thank you so much, definitely returning!

No matter how many times I go to Ramen Dozo, I'm never disappointed. It's a very simplistic atmosphere which lends to the overall eating experience. They don't try to dress the interior to fit any sort of new trends, so when you're there, you feel at home. The staff is super friendly, and the ramen is phenomenal. The menu is also very simplistic, so they have nothing to hide behind, and because of this, they've gotten incredible at what they do. I always order the Tonkotsu Ramen, and I order it "Angry," which is just a fancy way of saying extra spicy. It's the perfect level of heat and flavor. I highly recommend it to all the spice lovers out there. Anyway, this place just keeps me wanting to come back for more. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed, and it's also not ridiculously overpriced, so your wallet will thank you as well.

I normally don't go out of my way to write a review for a restaurant. But besides that point, I cannot recommend Ramen Dozo enough. I have been coming back to this restaurant for almost 5 years now and every single time the food, service and vibe is always an 11/10. My perfect order there is the Geso Karaage (Fried Squid), the Pork Tonkatsu Ramen and the Gyu Don, and every single time, I enjoy those items to the fullest. There seems to be a mixed demographic between Tampopo Ramen and Ramen Dozo, which is just across the street from it, even I have some friends that prefer Tampopo Ramen to Ramen Dozo. But from my perspective, I have been going to Tampopo Ramen before Ramen Dozo opened its business, and as soon as Ramen Dozo opened their doors, I can personally and confidently say that I will always prefer Ramen Dozo to Tampopo Ramen. In the end, I believe Ramen Dozo is one of the best local Ramen restaurants here in Arizona, and people who are looking for something comforting and delicious to eat, with great service, should come here and try it for themselves.

The best udon and tempura I’ve found in Arizona. I lived in Japan, so I’ve had plenty of the real deal. Can’t wait to try the ramen next time.

Chill spot next to fallout games, excellent ramen, small enough so the service is quick and attentive. Would recommend for an 'authentic' ramen experience.

The prices here are super great. Their ramen is absolutely stellar, their staff is kind, and it's a quiet little spot to get food. They give you so much ramen for $9.50-$12. I will say their fried rice isn't my cup of tea, and they haven't had sushi rolls since the first time I came to Ramen Dozo, but the things they do have available are phenomenal. If you have night blindness, just a heads up that the lighting here is rather dark. If you love ramen, you'll love this place.

Go to Tampopo ramen instead. Wish we did so. Went to Ramen Dozo and they had no sushi. All rolls were out. No pork katsu. Ordered the salmon fried rice. What salmon? Hardly anything there an no flavoring. It was bland and needed salt. Very very greasy that I was scraping grease off the roof of my mouth. For $14 I should have gone home and made it myself. So disappointed.
