I'm gonna say that the tacos weren't bad but they weren't great either. It was pretty busy when we visited Catalyst and wanted to try out some tacos from SALT. After ordering we sat and enjoyed a beer and kept waiting and waiting. Groups ahead of us kept getting food before us. After about 20 minutes we asked about the order and she either didn't ring it in properly or the kitchen lost the ticket. When we did finally get our food it was just okay. The general flavors were there but they were all over cooked. I'll give 'em another shot and see if it was just a one off.

Salt is located inside Catalyst Ales. I had the shrimp ceviche tostadas and a carne asada taco. I enjoyed both and will try something different next time. We ordered at their counter and they brought it out to us.

What more could you want than beer and tacos? We went on Taco Tuesday so we got one of each taco for $2.00 !!!! Most taco places when offering Taco Tuesday deals only allow you to choose between a couple tacos, and seafood is usually off the table for the "deal" SALT allows you to try all they have to offer on Taco Tuesday. So this definitely is the best spot. We tried octopus, pallock fish, the discada (which is a blend of bacon, pork, and chorizo), the steak, chicken, shrimp we tried them all. Oh and veggie Having the Brewery there makes the experience. Two different company's that are working in unison.

I ordered the pork burro. The pork was tasteless and chewy. My husband ordered the chicken burro and they made it incorrectly twice. I don't recommend eating here.
Second time the charm! These shrimp nachos were swimming in melted cheese and layered expertly to ensure no empty chips! The fresh Cilantro really made these a delight and the shrimp was seasoned/cooked to perfection.

Good bite to go along with your beer at Catalyst Crafted Ales. The first time I went I had fish tacos and asada load fries. The second time I got the abodaba burrito. I wouldn't come here because I want tacos. I'd go there because I want a beer and a bite to eat. I'd probably get the load fries again. They douse it in liquid cheese which is my favorite. More cheese the better. Again it's ok but I've had better tacos with more flavorful meat.

Best tacos in Tempe, imo. Loved them in their trailer outside The Shop Brewery-love their new brick & mortar. Huge patio, lots of tvs (if you're into that). Shrimp tacos and fish tacos are outstanding.
