Beautiful golf club! Luxurious bathrooms scattered throughout, raised tee boxes, grand displays of decorative items, and great views are some of the major highlights of this facility. Great location, great people, fun times! Highly recommend the Shali!

Say solid little old school Par 3 golf course in the middle of Tempe but well kept. Driving range. Clubhouse. shop. bar and restaurant with a great patio. They host special events and even sometimes have live music

It seems like the people who work here don't want anyone to come there. Rude grounds crew. Teenagers running the place. Signs up everywhere saying save shalimar.... I guess they're going out of business... can't imagine why...

I've played Shalimar about a dozen times in the past 4 months. If you played it last summer (2023), you know it was a struggle to keep enough water on the course (a problem for many courses in the area). Since then, course conditions have improved. Greens are small and run true. Fairways are not lush, but OK, while wayward shots will find dirt and thin lies. The bunkers are sad, and definitely need attention. But for the price, it is a great value. It is a short, walkable 9 hole course, suitable for beginners or those who want a quick tuneup game. Also, the pro shop staff have been friendly and accommodating. Not a resort course or a luxury venue, for sure. I appreciate it for what it is.

This is the worst place to play golf on the east side of Phoenix. The food is unfit for human consumption and the bartender is a thief. The gopher holes will cripple you.I live s half mile away and I know it like the back of my hand

Been coming here for 25years. Absolutely horrible shape. Asked to speak to a manager and told him about my experience, informed on that I've been coming here forever not only that but I learned to golf here in my younger days. The sand bunkers are all overgrown and are not sand bunkers, there's no water around the back nine where it used to be a moat and you'd have to cross the bridge. The bridge has plywood as a fix to cross the bridge. Overall horrible experience and very dangerous not to mention the overgrown trees and lack of grass throughout the fairways. I was baffled when the manager looked me straight in the eyes along with his assistant and told me that this is the best it's looking in a while I think it looks great. The lack of wanting to do better wanting to maintain a higher standard is saddening to me. This is a nice little course in Tempe a hidden gem. I wouldn't recommend coming to this place for their price. A reasonable price for walking here would be 10 to $11, I wouldn't pay any more than $15 for riding. There's one thing I'd like to note that the manager did say to me to try to justify how I felt about the course. And that is his response was plain and simple "we're looking to sell the course in this next year" and that explained everything in summed it up. Needless to say this will unfortunately be my last time playing here and I wish you the best Shalimar I had good memories here.

I really think this course is one of the best values in the valley, and the vibes are always great. They have all the amenities you need up front between the pro shop, driving range, putting/pitching greens, bar, etc. On top of that, the actual 9 hole course is challenging, fun, and engaging. I’m blessed to leave nearby such a Club, and it’s my go-to place to golf casually or on shot notice. Never regret coming here, easy on the wallet.

This is probably the best kept secret in Tempe, great bar! Hidden gem and the golf is good too
