First, know that this isn't a great place for a dinner with a view in the local area. The menu at Skysill is limited, and I suggest checking out the Omni nearby if you are looking for a nice dinner with a view. Getting into the Skysill takes a bit of maneuvering if you are visiting. Hotel guests need their key to access the gate (likely bc of the pool), but you have to wait or bug someone if you aren't a guest. Drinks are mediocre at best. They are "light" on the pours, and drinks are served in plastic cups. Ok, I get that you have a pool nearby, but the pool and restaurant/lounge area are well-separated. Drinking a good bourbon from a plastic cup... meh... We ordered a single appetizer to accompany drinks. Twenty-five minutes later, we approached the waitress who said she would check on what was going on. 30-35 minutes after ordering, the appetizer finally showed up. At least the manager stopped by and apologized for the extremely slow service because the "kitchen was slammed." The lounge nor the restaurant downstairs weren't busy on a Thursday night, so the explanation didn't match the observed conditions. The appetizer was comped, so thanks for that. We'll look for another rooftop bar when in Tempe.

Tempe, AZ is so Kool!! I had a great time. Friendly people, great service with cute, polite, staff. Skysill Rooftop is fabulous and fun. Also, great atmosphere for families with children ? ?. Stay at the Westin in Tempe, AZ for sure!!!!

If I could give this a 0 star experience I 100% would, we get there super excited because it’s me and my boyfriends 3 year anniversary and chose this place to spend it at cause we have always wanted to come, we get there and are sitting at the bar waiting for service while the two bartenders there are talking, don’t even greet us or at least acknowledge our existence, than another bartender walks in , he had I believe e dirty blonde hair and a red hat on, I told the host on our way T which bartender he was, he checked on everyone else at the bar, got someone else’s order and ignored us , another worker finally said “ can you get these two” he comes us to us says nothing and Taping the card in his hand on the table, we put in our order and we go “ thank you” and he just nods his head with a attitude to the point where we just canceled our drinks and left, the host was the only positive experience of this place.I am a bartender and I could never imagine giving people this type of service, especially in a upscale bar like this, extremely disappointing, will not be coming back.

Great rooftop experience. The view is spectacular! Our waitress was fun, professional, and very attentive. The food was so, so, not great and not terrible. Every seat cushion was stained and some were tattered. Overall it was a great experience. I'll try a few other rooftop restaurants/bar before I opt to return.

I'm Our waitress was very nice and helpful! My only complaint is the seat cushion are dirty! Dry stains all over the cushions! There are waterproof, weather resistant patio furniture! People come there dressed nicely and don't want to sit on dirty cushions. I watched a girl with all white on and she didn't sit down.
I was staying at the Westin with my company, and we went up to have a few drinks. The service is great, the views you can't beat. Staff is wonderful. If you're staying here, please check it out!
My friends and I had a wonderful time. We timed our reservation to catch the sunset and it was stunning. Food was delicious. Drinks were great. Server was wonderful. A fantastic night.

Awesome rooftop. The food was ok but the view was exceptional. You will need your room badge to access the gate on the roof or one of the guys at the bar will walk over to open for you.

The server was on point! She was the only saving grace of this place. They had limited wine and limited beer options. Even though we weren't seated next to the pool they wouldn't serve glass bottles at all. We were there at 7:30pm at night and we were not there to swim. Also the heaters kept going out, but they tried to keep them going. Music was catered for the mellenials. So that was kinda nice. Some Usher and Brandi on the playlist. So the DJ was pretty okay. Also the Rose was not good. Very cheap wine.

Service needs improvement. We sat around waiting to order, then walked up and asked if we needed to order at the bar and the waiter advised she'd be over soon. The heater lamp was moved on us and we were given one off to the side of our table that barely worked. I walked to the bar to pay for our two drinks and had to wait to pay as multiple staff walked by me and did not address me. During this time it should be noted it was not very busy. We found a better outside bar across the street at Omni to finish our night.
