I just ordered and food was delivered in deplorable condition. Fries were cold and stuck together, burger was almost scary to eat, just total mush and I question why I ate it at all... I am stuck at work, called a few times and phone rings and rings and rings then finally a message they're busy. To say I am disappointed is an understatement, I was so excited to get Smashburger. A waste of my money, I am afraid I will be sick and I feel helplessness one would answer. Order 0944

When this location first opened the food was very mediocre. I recently came back and the food quality and taste has significantly gone up. Probably one of the most tasty fast food burgers you can get. The smash fries are amazing too. I would say this is one of my new favorite burger places.

I am so disgusted in the blatant disregard of customer service and a simple request, and sadly this isn't an isolated incident either, so am I the one to blame because I keep going back to them?, In my defense my daughter is very picky and if she wants a smash burger I'm happy to get her one and why should I have to drive out of my way because the restaurant less than a mile from my home will not do their job and make my food as I requested, all I asked for was lettuce and pickles on the side because as I take out food to my home instead of eating in store my bun becomes soggy and not edible, I assume they keep their lettuce in water and straight to burger but no barrier between lettuce and bun so that results in soggy wet bun, anyway my request was not fulfilled and I got a cheeseburger with red onion, no mayo or anything else and no lettuce or pickles on the side either, I also ordered 2 orders of rosemary fries and I got plain fries but didn't notice until I was already in my driveway. Why should I have to double check their work when I paid $37 for them to make the food that they are selling. I am so sad that they cannot even bother to make sure I got what I ordered and how I ordered it. Then I tried to call them to ask for a refund and they will not answer the phone, I just get a message that says they are busy helping customers that are in the store! What? I was in the store but since I'm home do I no longer matter? SMH, I am astonished that the owners or CEOs or whoever settle for this and call it customer service. If I was charging money for services I would make sure I made that customer happy or at least gave them what they paid me for. I guess my standards are too high and I expect great customer service in any business.

It took 30+ minutes for a single shake and fry…. They need to figure out their staffing. This seems to happen every time. Smash burger needs a better system for handling orders as the person at the register quickly gets overloaded by orders. I didn’t order to go so I could sit there for 30 mins for a shake.

The previous few months I was becoming disappointed with the SmashBurger at 2010 E Elliot Rd, Tempe, AZ because the burgers were overcooked and dried out. But this day, 2/11/24 at 11:29 am, the burger was great; it was perfect like it was in the past. I'm glad it was great on 2/11/24, otherwise, I was not going to return to SmashBurger. Thanks!

We ordered online ahead of time and when we got here I watched as the front person struggled to put together the orders. The cooks throw different ingredients from various orders up into the heating shelf randomly and she had to puzzle out where everything went. Every order took forever. The store is understaffed or the workers are undertrained. I kinda feel bad for them, their management seems bad.Our fries and tater tots were all barely half full. Our burgers were somehow cold and overcooked. Like they were very dry. I don't understand how they ended up cold because I was standing there the entire time.I almost slipped on the floor. Like something was greasy or something. It didn't look wet but it was very slick.Also, they had deleted all the points from our app and we're not sure why, but we definitely had a lot saved up.
Great unique burgers with fresh ingredients. Rosemary tots are unique and awesome. Onion strings/rings are great. Try the Vegas burger.Dietary restrictions: Avoid if you are on a diet, unless it's a seefood diet and you can eat everything you see.
Here's the deal...I've never been to a Smashburger before and will be back...to this one, for sure. Corporate can thank Melvin for my loyalty. He greeted every single person that came through the door. His attentiveness included QAQCing the line cooks, filling ice, preparing lemonade, iced tea, clearing tables, assisting in taking orders, checking on patrons, and more. In fact, a woman came in for a mobile order and he was conscientious enough to offer her something to drink while she waited. Ive never seen this before and watched this dude never stop for close to an hour. While I bet he doesn't own this franchise location, Smashburger would do well to invest in him and whoever he brings on. If you own this location, I hope you know the value in this guy. I'm giving 4 stars for food because I got a single patty when I ordered the double. Still, it was a doggone good burger and Melvin made my day.
