I couldn't forget the Hara's Guys I ate in New York, and I was happy to learn that it was available in the West as well.I also like that you can purchase white sauce separately. I'll try to recreate it when I get back to Japan.

Ok so generally I love halal guys and I was so excited to come here but the health protocols here are seriously lacking. It was clear after one bite or one sniff that the chicken is really off. I had faith in their protocols and chalked it up to "that's weird" but continued on for a second, third, and maybe even fourth bite before thinking it's so gross that I avoided the chicken entirely in my combo platter. Boy was that a terrible mistake. I slept terribly and woke up to vomit and more vomit. I couldn't keep anything down all day. Water was painful to drink. The worst of it lasted 24 hours but symptoms persisted for 5 days. Do not come here, find another, safer, cleaner place.

Coming from the East Coast, finding a Halal Guys in Arizona was so exciting. Let me say this food in NY and Philly was the go-to food spot and places were packed, we were surprised to find no line the last few times we’ve gone. Must be the college kids not knowing what they’re missing with this place. The flavors of the sauce and the way the food is cooked is always a 10/10 for sure. Our mouths water before even getting out the car knowing we’re coming in here. In the one picture you’ll see what we call in Philly the “fry platter”, which is a platter with fries added on top. I highly recommend it if you like some crispy bites to your platter, it adds a nice touch. The red sauce here is actually red unlike back home where it’s almost black, so a few extra lines is needed here. Overall customer service has been good every time too and I’m happy to drive the distance to get here. Will be a regular trip for us while in Arizona!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegetarians like myself, I can eat and feel full after coming here. Eating clean and meat free is easy here.Dietary restrictions: Being vegetarian, I have no issues option for other alternatives like falafel, hummus, fries, veggies… you name it!Parking: Parking is hit or miss being in a busy college campus.

The chicken on 1/1/2024 gave both me and my girlfriend food poisoning. In retrospect we should’ve known, because the chicken tasted VERY off. We will never be returning to this location.

We went there sometime last week. It was the first time. It was okay for the food. We were served by the girl. Nope for the service especially we always like friendly waiters/waitresses. She never smiled when we smiled. She seemed unfriendly. We dont know what was wrong with her. We tried to understand her job by still tipping her but failed to completely understand her gloomy act. It was not a busy day tho. We'll probably not come back.

I really like the food, but they are out of onions almost every time I eat here. They were out of lettuce last week too.
Maybe it was an off day but I don't think so. The pita tasted raw and gummy and fell apart. I was told they were out of onions. The meat reminded me of ground pork not straps of beef/lamb. The mayonnaise based sauce is terrible. Not my idea of a Gyro.

We have been here a few times and our recent visit was the best one. It is a good spot for some quick halal food. We normally get the Beef Gyro Platter and the Beef Gyro sandwich. The previous times we went, the pita bread was dry and barely was given for the regular platter. Our recent visit was the best as everything tasted great. I asked for a drop of the hot sauce this time because they gave me 2 hot sauce lines and I struggled eating my food. So be careful with the hot sauce! They have jalapeño, green peppers and black olives for toppings. The restaurant was empty when we were there for dinner but luckily the food tasted good. The parking is terrible there.

Food was not the best, disappointed. Gyro and rice looked and tasted like it was sitting in the pan for a while. Had to request more tomatoes since I was given a tablespoon full. Bathroom was filthy. I've been to several Hala guys in Texas and California, this by far was the worst. We will not be back.

Food was good! Service was ok. The screens weren't working so it was hard to decide what to order, I just copied whoever was in front of me! Glad I did though! I got a chicken and beef combo. I can tell this is a busy spot though so you know it's good. I'm glad they gave us sauce on the side, because that white sauce is a game changer, so good!

Never have I ever given 1 star for all of Food, service, atmosphere options. Everything about this place is disappointing. I ordered a combo wrap and as you can see in the picture the pita bread was broken into two pieces. How am I supposed to eat this "wrap"? I asked this to the one at the counter (presumably part-time students) and they couldn't care less. They responded "I'm not sure". Since we visited around 9pm we had to sit outside the property and the tables at the front couldn't be any more dirty. Never coming back.
Food is fresh. So good! The white sauce is yummy!
