Ignored our reservation. Understaffed during an event across the street. Do not go here before a play at Gammage...or

Authentic food stops here! Don't be put off by the at-times bonkers parking lot. You are transported halfway around the World once your taste buds make contact with these flavorful dishes! Start with those starred items, and you'll be hooked.

Service for our group of 10 was sub-par. Last person ordered was first served. Missing several entrees and had to ask for them a couple times

Lack of service and/or shortage of staff. Limited menu. Works best to order online as bartender busy. Good luck finding your order. Could be at hotel front desk or at pickup window at closed Restuarant or unknown. Our friends order took an hour with 30 minutes of searching. Never again. Perfect spot close to Gammage

Closed. Looks the the bar on the other side of the hotel is open but the coffee and restaurant is closed. It’s all debris Inside.

The restaurant is closed! This is a quick coffee, tea, and quick prepackaged food on the way out the door amenity. Please update as we had to reroute our entire party.

I’m writing because of so many good reviews here for breakfast. As of 12/21 breakfast is down to a grab and go type menu and was very disappointing. I was hoping for a nice omelette, and ended up eating some Jimmy Dean’s breakfast biscuits heated in a microwave.

Even prior to COVID, the Normal Restaurant and Bar (which have operated in various iterations) struggled, which is a mystery as it is a perfect location for people like me and my husband who have season tickets to Gammage to stop for a bite before performances. A warning to anyone considering going there during the Hamilton run,--don't. Unless you are looking for just a cocktail. What infuriates me is that I called in advance and asked, "Is the restaurant open?". The person I spoke with said yes. I asked if they took reservations, and was told no. What she failed to mention is that there is no restaurant service in the bar space. The main restaurant is shuttered and dark and not open for service. We sat down (person working the bar was not very friendly) and were told the only food was chips and salsa, or a hot dog or hot pocket that could be microwaved. I lamely shared my disappointment, given that I had called and received an eye roll and a lame, "sorry". We got the chips and salsa, and got a mylar bag of chips, a cardboard bowl and a container of salsa. The nachos at Circle K are better than what we were served. The napkins, however, were high quality. I don't know what it will take to take advantage of this prime location and for someone to open a place where you can get a nice pre-performance meal. But this was beyond the pale. My advice....eat ahead of time if you are headed to Gammage.

UPDATE:2019--So, the Normal Restaurant and Bar is now one and the same. The bar used to be Tapacubo. The standards have only gone up. I cannot reccomend the bar enough. The drinks are creative and the bar staff is really knowledgeable and not affraid to push the envelope. I highly recommend this place for good eats and great drinks without the Mill Street mayhem. Check it out.I've been eating at the Normal since October 2016. The food is good, the drinks are great and the service is exceptional. I had the meatloaf special today. It took a while to come out but the wait was worth it. Amy, as always, was a fantastic waitress. She knew what I wanted and had my order in before I sat down. They are open for breakfast and lunch. I wish they would do more to advertise the place to reach more of the community. Right now, it's a great hotel restaurant, but it could be so much more than that.

Very, very cute little hotel! I loved the retro, western themes throughout. The rooms were tastefully decorated with interesting fixtures and art throughout. Beds and linens were perfectly comfortable. The pet fee was low. The concierges were very friendly and helpful, and even let me have an extra room flag as a souvenir. I appreciated the convenience of being able to text downstairs if I had a question, as I'm very much an introvert. The campus across the street is an absol

Cool place to grab a bite. Staff is friendly and helpful. Don't forget to go green and hang the tag on your door if you're staying at the Graduate hotel. You'll get a $5 voucher to use at the restaurant on whatever. I had the freshman breakfast most days but this breakfast burrito was killer.

Okay, this is hard, but I'm forced to break up with what use to be my favorite place to go. What happened to my Normal?!?! Where's the back to school lunch special, the red velvet chicken and waffles, the comfort food that use to ease my stress away...i don't understand this new updated menu of foods that are not what my Normal once was.... sigh...

Came here only because we were going to see a musical at Gammage. The server was amazing Conner. Very helpful. Service was a little slow but we told the server we needed to find parking for Wicked and he said"If you know your license plate I can validate and you can just park here for free." So yes the service was slow but he did save us time and money by letting us just park right there. Even better is that when the show got out we had a direct access to get us off the main drag and to another street without having to deal with the traffic. We WILL be back for lunch and maybe dinner. The smell of the coffee was amazing.

The Normal now has a price fixed pre-show dinner menu. Complete dinner with you choice of one of three entrees. Delicious food, served quickly with a smile. Wonderful.
