This is the best deal in Tucson, and Tucson's best kept secret. Alloro D.O.C. at the top of the stairs of Tucson Hilton East. Friday night they have a Prime Rib special for $25.00. You get a sumptuous prime rib with au ju and choice of baked, or garlic mashed potatoes. The food, and service is always quick and delicious. Our host, server and som, and busser, was the restaurant supervisor. Monette carried the work load single handedly, and didn't miss a beat. She was very personable with a great attitude. They seem to be understaffed right now obviously, but you wouldn't have known that other than she was there to do everything for us, might I add very quickly and efficiently. Last time we were here we had delicious homemade cannoli's. Where can you get a quality steak in Tucson for 25.00 dollars? Friday night at the Alloro D.O.C. Hilton East is the only place in town with a steak at this great price. Not to mention the place is comfy, relaxing, and has a lovely esthetic and ambience, that puts one at ease. You will walk out of here feeling full and content. One more note, Fantastic 10 dollar glasses of wine are offered as well. Try the Washington vintage, H3 for a full bodied, rich, fruity cab that is drinkable with steak, or even sometime, as a stand alone. You may purchase your own at Safeway for under $20.00. Delicious! Alloro D.O.C. is a must do on your Friday night, after a tough week, or just a regular date night! Bon Appetit!Parking: They have a ramp going up the hill from the parking lot, and an elevator once inside if you need to bypass the staircase.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes ramp yes elevator, and use yes spacious between seats!

Had a wonderful dinner here. A close friend lives in Tucson so we decided to eat where I was staying. Our server(s) (( from water to dinner)) were on hand, professional but friendly. We even were shown a little tip for the holiday decorations I was looking at.

We enjoyed the prime rib special. It was cooked to perfection and was the perfect temperature. The rum cannoli for dessert was awesome. We will definitely be back for another Friday night prime rib special.

We had to vacate the house for a day, and we usually stay at a hotel in the Williams Centre, but this time, we needed to make two trips back to the house during the day, so being 10 minutes away made more sense. We had planned to have breakfast at the hotel. The workmen were to arrive around 9 am, but got caught in traffic on the freeway, and did not come until 10:30, so we missed breakfast as it is served only until 10 am. We checked in, and decided to go for an early lunch. The menu is quite short and limited, but the choices are good. My husband decided on the quesadilla, and I had the fresh garden salad. We did not have any high expectations, as after all, this was "hotel food". However, both dishes were unbelievably good. My garden salad had all sorts of vegetables in it (avocado, cucumber, radish, etc.), and all were crisp, fresh and delicious. We had two draft Barrio Blondes to drink. So, we were so pleased with this excellent lunch, that we decided to come for dinner. Sat ourselves down, at the same cozy corner table, and we shared a gnocchi with short ribs dish, and afterwards, a cannoli for dessert. These were beyond delicious. People rave about Vivace, but this was better. Definitely better. We had two glasses of red wine, and were so happy with ourselves for discovering this place. We, often, go out for lunch, and now, that we know that this "gem" is so close, we will be dropping in, now and then. Very much enjoyed the food and atmosphere here. Service could be better, (like, clear the dirty dishes off the table before bringing the dessert!), but, all in all, it was a very nice experience.

Red lobster in general is not as good as it used to be. Portions are smaller, food is good but not great.

Morning buffet $20 per person, not as bad as we'd thought it'd be. Wishing the bar stayed open later- closed earlier than one would expect.

Chef John made a Mahi Mahi Piccata this evening that was SO DELICIOUS and so beautifully layered in flavor and texture that it damn near brought me to tears!!! It was literally the best dish I have tasted in 2023. I HAD TO MEET HIM AND HUG him for sharing this experience of this meal because it pleased my spirit so much! Please never let this chef go, as he brought joy to my existence today. I kid you not, I felt that risotto in my soul. Eating this meal was akin to a blind person given the gift of sight or a newborn mother holding her child for the first time. I never expected to have my taste buds blown away from an unassuming hotel in Tuscon, but I did today. Thank you!!!The tuna tartare was fantastic as well ?

I was blown away by my salmon, mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots! Each element was prepared with care and cooked to perfection. The carrots and asparagus were bright with color and prepared al dente. The mashed potatoes were flavorful and not gummy or runny. The salmon was a tad on ver cooked for me taste BUT the crispy skin made up for the chalky meat. And the pesto was SUBLIME!!! Also, the waitstaff, morning and evening was friendly and efficient. The fresh cut fruit and yogurt and perfectly cooked and tasty bacon elevated the breakfast buffet. Yum
