Food tasted good but the price for the burritos was kind of expensive for what it is.. I took a co worker to the NENE and it was basically 50 bucks for 2 burritos and 2 cokes.. They arent big taco truck burritos, they are like a taco bell burrito supreme size. The break down on my receipt is Burrito 16.63 + 2.08 for cheese and a coke, either bottled or fountain is $4.32. So for two burritos and two fountains it was $47.82 with tax. Prices on other items looks more reasonable but when they said the price i admit i puckered and held my breath for a moment.

My wife and I had the carnitas tortas which came with fries and a Serrano chile which was the 1st time for us since we are used to jalapeños but it was good and spicy. The food was really good and a big bread and the fries was good. It was great food overall we were visiting Tucson so if you are in the area stop by. Prices are more expensive than El Paso but its probably like that in Tucson.

Just fantastic food here!! I’ve eaten here several times and I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed El Nene yet. The meats are seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. They fill the tacos to capacity so you always leave feeling full and satisfied. They have several drink options. The place is always clean and inviting. The service is fast and excellent. They have a cart with any extras you need to add to your food. All I can say is this is one Mexican restaurant you can not pass up on!! Fantastic ??

Authentic Mexican at its finest. Came in expecting the same style as San Diego and was not disappointed. The condiments bar was amazing and fresh. Got some Asada tacos, and my friend got a bean burrito, and they were both fantastic! Stop in if you're in the area and say hi.
