“After a hike in Sabino I was in the mood for a tender smoked turkey sandwich on fresh garlicky bread role from Brushfire. Hadn’t been to Brushfire in a few months. I arrive… no lights, no cars… “Available” signs in the windows. Oops. What about the other location? Also closed. Too bad… Well, I’m still hungry… what else is around? I remembered an Asian restaurant had replaced Peking Palace, so decided to give Nattha’s Bann Thai a try.Restaurant was clean and peaceful, a few other diners, a mellow place for lunch. The lunch specials menu is predominately classic Chinese dishes with a couple of Thai recipes. I ordered the Stir Fry Fresh Ginger Chicken. It was definitely fresh ginger, lots of succulent white chicken meat, onions, green onions and mushrooms — all very good. Service kind and attentive.“
“Tried it for the first time today - apparently newcomers get a special welcome! I got the combo with pork and beef. The more I ate, the better it tasted as everything mixed together. I had to stop myself so I'd have enough for leftovers. Will definitely go again and try other options.“
“First timers get a free treat, which is awesome, but we will be back for sure. The staff was super helpful in explaining everything and what their suggestions were. We got two combo bowls, one with beef and gf fried chicken, and another with bbq pork and bbq beef. They threw in a couple of free pot stickers and gave the gf order some extra fried chicken. Please bring one of these to the northwest side of town.“
“My first time there. Because Jr. wanted sushi. Omg the best sushi by far. And Dim Sum reminded me of 85’degrees Asian scratch bakery. They are the absolute best. You guys seriously need to open up an Asian Bakery. I don’t even think that there has ever been one here in Tucson. Sushi lounge will be my go to place as long as they are in business.“
“Granted, we went when it was busy. But our party of four waited nearly an hour for food. The pork chops I ordered were cut up but still had the bone in. I was picking apart maybe a third of my meal. Now, bad things aside the food was great! Deliciously cooked and peppered pork. My guests got the sesame and orange chicken. Delicious (will be getting the sesame chicken again for sure!)Try and go during a weekday and maybe for lunch. That weekend dinner was busy!“
“My friend chose PFC for her birthday dinner and I am here to say how lovely and helpful and thoughtful the staff were! I was late to reserve but I called and they adjusted to our preferred time. A couple people were tentative and they took care of that, and the extra people caused a rule to kick in requiring 2 servers which was seamless, and they split up the checks as requested without adding any autograt which surprised me but I know I tipped 30% and believe our other party members also left nice tips. BOH also made adjustments to the menu to accommodate a few vegetarian requests. I couldn’t hope for better service than that!! The food is reliable and good American style stuff; the menu is smaller so that may affect some people (like our vegetarian who wanted items no longer on the menu).“
“I love the food from here. I'm still new to the area, so I will make it a point to stop in more often. I mostly grab some take out when I know that I will be close by. Staff is very friendly and always pleasant. I'm so glad I found them, I need my Thai food every now & then“
“I got the spicy poke bowl over salad. This was the perfect take-out meal when staying at the nearby hotel, because the portions are huge and it still tasted fresh hours later. I recommend adding ponzu sauce to any bowl. The pineapple was another favorite ingredient that I couldn't get enough of.Dietary restrictions: Great option for pescetarians.“
“This place is under a new ownership, which has done amazing things with the place. We were taken care by Charisma, who was very attentive and sweet. The food was fantastic, and some of the best views you could ask for. Super clean facilities. Also, seems to get a fair amount of take-out business, soups -- especially -- seemed to be in favor“
“Had a great Chinese meal here for a large group. Pricing is great and the portions are fairly large, which is always a good sign. The woman serving us was very inviting and nice and provided plenty of extra sauces and fortune cookies. I would come back for another meal, even if I was just getting takeout.“
“This place is absolutely legendary. The bourbon chicken is just delicious and they usually HOOK IT UP for dinner! If you like rice and meat, this place is legit!Vegetarian options: They have options for vegetariansKid-friendliness: I saw 3 kids eating the orange chicken in front of meWheelchair accessibility: In the Tucson Mall“
“Reminded me of my regular sushi place at my last residence. Decent food, decent prices. The "Japanese style soda" is just a ramune. If I had known, I would've gotten something else.Kid-friendliness: They have chopstick helpers and a kids menu that my son enjoyed“
“Really good food... the best & my very favorite is the bbq pork! The grilled chicken, lemon chicken, & chow mein are all a very flavorful second. Super nice, friendly, fast & helpful man behind the counter today! The lady & food were super awesome last time we visited too.“
“Been coming here for years. The food is amazing. They’ve always been great and very friendly. Recently their new staff just doesn’t seem to care as much… already had two bad experiences in a row. I’m really sad to say I might be looking for a new spot to go.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pei Wei, and I must say, the highlight of my experience was the impeccable service provided by Josh. From the moment I walked in, Josh greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel genuinely welcomed.Throughout my meal, Josh went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. He was attentive to every detail, from promptly taking my order to ensuring my food arrived hot and delicious. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he provided excellent recommendations when I couldn’t decide what to order. What truly set Josh apart was his genuine kindness and passion for his job. He took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. His enthusiasm was contagious, and it enhanced my overall dining experience. In addition to his exceptional service, Josh also demonstrated remarkable professionalism. He was efficient, organized, and always had a positive attitude, even during busy periods. It’s evident that he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about providing the best possible experience for every customer.“
“Stopped for lunch and ordered a bowl with noodles and veggies with tofu. It was very good. I did add some soy sauce and salt but overall, I enjoyed it. The tofu was fried and a bit spongey but nicely browned. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The egg rolls were exceptional. Parking is only at the garage across the street.Vegetarian options: You get to decide what you want in your bowl. Tofu option is available and lots of veggies.Dietary restrictions: You can pick what you want.“
“Lunch. My girlfriend ordered Chicken Pad Thai; I had Teriyaki Chicken (pictured). Her bowl was served with ramen noodles instead of the anticipated pad thai rice noodles so she returned it and a few minutes later an employee brought out the corrected order. As we had her pooches in tow we seated ourselves on their dog-friendly patio. The place was clean, the servers polite, the general atmosphere calm and pleasant, conducive to enjoying one’s lunch. The meal was satisfying… “Corporate Asian Food Chain“ delicious.“
“the food at pei wei is always so good! the ingredients are always fresh & I’m never disappointed. the staff also makes it a great environment, even when they’re busy, they know what they’re doing & get stuff done in a timely manner!! the manager Martin is also super welcoming and professional! 10/10 recommend!“
“I think this is the best Chinese food spot in the Continental Ranch/Northwest Tucson area that I’ve tried. Their lunch special prices are great and the dishes I’ve had are delicious. I love that the lunch specials come with soup and crab puffs or an egg roll. They are always busy it seems but they still get the food to me quickly. I wish I would have discovered this restaurant earlier.“
