Name and small menu changes from Baja have not changed the quality of food and staff. Still delicious, still welcoming and still awesome.

Ever since they changed hands, it's not the same.

We didn't know this place had changed hands recently, but we decided to give it a try. We split the eggs and brisket and added mushrooms and caramelized onions and a side of bscon. A good bit of the brisket was stringy and dry. The mushrooms were also overcooked and dry. The onions were softened but not caramelized. That dish was quite disappointing. The bacon was burned. We thought the orange juice would be fresh-squeezed. It wasn't. No return trip for us.

Since changing ownership, this place hasn't been the same. Red flag no wait at a usual busy time. Food was oily, and the portion size to price was awful. The menu wasn't nearly as good as it was... this place should really have a fresh start on reviews nowhere near 4 stars.... corned beef in to go box was a full portion. Won't be back

This place has taken a nose dive since it is no longer Baja Cafe. There was zero issue getting a table which is a bad sign here. When it was Baja Cafe the wait would've been 45 minutes at a minimum. For the price they charge the amount of food is laughable. The brisket in the corned beef hash was decent the "sauce" sausage gravy was an after thought and the hash browns were very oily. Won't be back unfortunately.

Baja cafe on ina has been the only breakfast place to wow me, bring it back. Huge L for marana.
Met some family here and I was quite skeptical. However, I will be going back!Service was outstanding!!!Food was delicious and all homemade sauces. I had the corn beef hash and they make the brisket themselves. Its not a fancy place, but they make make up for it in food quality and service.OH, they make their own Bloody Mary mix as well! And you could fill up on just everything in there! I paid extra for maple bacon and I was glad as it was two pieces of delicious bacon!Give this place a try.

Went there today, had the vanilla crumble pancake, and it was SO GOOD. I hope the owner sees this. I do not know the circumstances of why I was told the old recipes can not be used, but I wanted to let you know that even though names can be trademarked, there is no such thing as copyright laws for recipes. You can call it whatever you want, but you can legally use any recipe you like. Love the food, atmosphere, and the people here.

This is my honest review. If you’re going to leave Baja Cafe, have a menu ready. You didn’t want to pay them to be Baja Cafe, you’re going to lose customers if you don’t step it up. Make a menu to make people happy! PS no one wants cold spinach on their eggs Benedict. You can’t use Baja’s menu anymore, that’s totally fine but you need to come up with your own. All your customers were very confused today.

???Will NEVER give this place business again. It was my first time eating here and my last. I left a cash tip and paid for our meals on card. On the receipt I crossed out the tip and put the total for our meal. A day later I got a notification from my bank that my card amount was updated to include a tip. The meal was $32 for two of us and the tip amount all together came out to almost $20!!! I hate thieves more than anything. I don't care if it is even a penny. They returned $8.00 cash after I had to call them but stated I'd have to come in and get it since they couldn't return it back on my card. This place is absolutely trash and morally compromised. ???

No longer Baja Cafe. We always came here for the eggs Benedicts, so many old options, now just 5 not so very good options. Will probably not be back, will drive further to go to the Baja Cafes that still have the menu we want.
