I had family in town and absolutely had to introduce them to Barrio Bread which is just amazing. My granddaughter must have ate 1/2 a loaf by herself along with 2 whole avocados. They all loved it so much. I had to go back to buy more when they left because I sent it all to CA with them. It is such a fun experience to talk to the owner and other sweet employees. Service and atmosphere are perfect.

Barrio bread is by far the best bread in the state. After having one loaf my family and I are hooked. Not only is it good but it is made with the best ingredients. Thank you for your attention to detail and making such a wonderful product.

My parents when they come to visit, spend over $100 just to bring bread back home to California. This place is worth all the hype. It's always 5/5 stars. My advice is to come 15-20 min before it opens. Trust me, there is already a line out the door.

First time, I lined up on a Saturday morning and had high hopes with a 40-minute wait. This place did not disappoint. Fresh bread. Great variety. Fast service if you know what you want. It is and feels like a local mom and pop shop. I came back on a weekday around 12:30pm towards closing, no line. Breads I've tried: Cranberry & walnut, rustic 9-grain, sesame, pan epi, pan Rustico. Would recommend them all!

Tuesday morning and the line of customers extends down the street. We kept it simple with a baguette and six everything bagels. We'll try the bagels tomorrow but the bread loaf was a winner. Bagels were great this morning with homemade spread of Philly cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers. Cashier at store where we purchased the fixings guessed at our objective and said she was jealous! She's a NYC native attending U of AZ.

Well it's the first bread line I've been in but well worth it. Tried the sesame bagels and heritage loaf. All fabulous. It's a true experience and all in line were repeat customers. Nough said.

How do I know society is collapsing before our eyes? People will wait in a line for over 45 minutes for ...... bread. I'm sure the bread here is great. I'm sure it tastes amazing. But who in their right mind is standing in line on a weekend just for a loaf bread? I'll never know how good it is because after waiting in a line of about 40 other people, that barely moved after 20 minutes, on a recent Saturday morning, I suddenly had an epiphany that life is short and I don't really care that much about standing in an excessively long line just so I can taste some bread.

Probably as good a European-style bakery as you'll find most places in the US--crispy epi baguette and all that--but I didn't find it anything unusual or special. It's certainly a good quality bread, but for all the localness in the grains it didn't taste any different than elsewhere.

Usually a long line, but it moves quickly. Worth every bite, whether cut for sandwiches or toast.

We love artisanal sourdough barrio bread. We won't eat anything else. Love their Rye bread.
