I've been coming here for years and today was the first time I was disappointed. The meatloaf was okay, same as I remember but could have used more mushroom gravy. My major complaint is that their chocolate sour cream cake used to be the best chocolate cake on the face of the earth. Super moist and decadent. Today I got a slice that tasted no better than box mix cake. Kinda dry and crumbly, not rich like it used to be. Also, the atmosphere has changed since the servers were playing music that seemed more suited to some new trendy hipster coffee shop than a well established Tucson restaurant. It used to be a quiet and tranquil place.

The food is delicious and worth the price, there is no doubt about that. The service leaves a lot to be desired.Our waitress kept crowding my personal space to the point where she almost poked my eye with the place settings she was holding. I'm not sure if she had something going on or just didn't want to be there, but her demeanor was guarded at best. Also, they brought us an extra side of potatoes for some reason...An elderly woman tripped on the step leading into the indoor seating. It's not reasonably marked like with yellow paint, just a white sticker. The staff didn't immediately jump in to help her up, so I did, and I was across the room.I'll just order to go next time...

The Blue Willow Restaurant was converted from an old house that my mother and her family once lived in many decades ago. That's why we visited. It turns out the food is delicious and the service is excellent. We will be back again.

Great Brunch Experience!I stopped by here for brunch on my way back from some morning errands, and I'm glad I did. The outside seating is filled with greenery that is enjoyable to the eye. The Quiche caught my eye from other reviewer's photos, and I can say it was worth ordering. Everything was fresh and wonderful. Seating does seem slightly crammed but not overwhelmingly a tight squeeze to sit down. Highly recommend supporting this local restaurant!

Been eating here for 39 years! Started coming every Sunday morning, with friends, in 1984..throughout the years…I came here with my husband, later with our children and now as a single old lady with my friends again. ?It’s such a great place/wonderful, cozy atmosphere and off the charts food.
I was alone and wanted some where I could feel comfortable. You can sit yourself so i found a nice quiet area to enjoy myself.The waitress was so friendly, i complimented her as well as a good tip for

I'm soooo happy to report that Blue Willow has delicious food ?. Growing up in Tucson I've always just driven right by this restaurant. I'm soo mad?? at myself for not trying the menu items here much sooner.? Our family of 4 had breakfast here on 3/17/2024 and it was very good!????? Our order was prepared freshly, accurate and fast. The staff were al pleasant and welcoming ?. WE definitely recommend Blue Willow for breakfast, lunch & dinner! Can't wait to comeback soon! ?
