Our server was very nice but the portion size of our breakfast was laughably small. The amount of food you get for $15+ a plate did not fill up my little brothers stomach let alone an adults. Prices up, portions down. This is whats wrong with our economy ??

Bread-and-Butter Cafe is great. I've been going there for a few years now and it's amazing I had even though I like my eggs over medium never and my eggs over cooked. They have generous portions, and their pies are a must. Your feelings are excellent and there's just the right amount of crust, too many restaurants I noted in Tucson it crushed his way too thick. The staff is friendly, fast, and inviting. Even those bus tables keep an eye and make sure customers don't need anything. Is a prime example why people should go to local restaurants and not chain restaurants that seems to be so impersonal nowadays.

1st time in. Started out 5 star, but then... went for adbertised homemade chicken fried steak: it wasn't and was about size of small hamburger patty.Saw home fries coming in ordered, but had to send back for cooking, tasteless. Steak cold by the time got the potatoes back, toast came in cold and halfway buttered.2 eggs with meal, more like one,but charged $2 for cheese. Other meal came with 3 eggs, charged $1 for cheese. Servings looked the same. Pork chops good. Ordered 1 meal with hash browns, came on side and non-ordered home fries on second dish cooked perfect.Food ooks bigger because it's in tiny plates. If hungry enough they might get a 2nd chance.

Read the reviews prior to arrival. Excellent reviews. As for myself and my friend, we could not agree with these reviews. Food was mediocre, nothing special at all. Very disappointed. It's pretty bad when you're sitting at one restaurant and calling another restaurant to put in a to-go order.

This place feels like home!! Fantastic food with a family vibe. The pies are phenomenal. Have been back multiple times and the food is not lacking nor is the service. Even when they are busy they make sure to keep you up to speed on what's going on. Love it

Great service.Right away you can tell that this is a family run business, everyone is so attentive and a pleasure to interact with. This little cafe, is very homey and welcoming.Coffee was good, hot and rich. I ordered french toast with eggs and bacon. Eggs and bacon were cooked the way I like. French toast was good but I would have preferred it being left on the griddle just a little longer, just enough to toast the edges and cook the center just that little bit more (personal preference,) also the whipped butter it is served with was delicious. My husband ordered the steak with veggies, eggs and beans. This is where the 4☆ rating comes in. There was little to no cubed steak on his plate. It was mostly the veggies that it is cooked with. (Bell pepper, onions, tomatoes)Overall, it was a delightful brunch date and we will be returning.

Stepped inside to ask to use their restroom to wash my hands, didn’t acknowledge my question but made a point to inform me that they were trying to mop their floor.Attitude was dismissive/racist.For all you know, I could be trying to dress a wound, administer medication.Extremely rude.

Went to Bread and Butter a few weeks back, ordered a turkey sandwich and fries, was enjoying eating it until I noticed a dead "Kissing Bug" or Triatominae on my plate. I immediately stopped eating and informed the waitress. She apologized and told the manager. I had no expectation of outcome, it was an FYI- DO BETTER moment however the manager proceeded to claim the bug was apart of the meal as it was a piece of lettuce that fell off my sandwich. This was absolutely INCORRECT!!! Rather then owning up to their mistake, he tried to claim I was incorrect in my noticing the bug.Absolutely ridiculous that he took the "easy way" out and it's utterly appalling to think this establishment would rather make the customer out to be wrong!! Makes me question how they are still operating and what else they try to cover up!I do not recommend this place nor will I eat here again.

The place is pretty small, but the food is great. My favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. You can get beef or chicken however I get the beef. It comes with a side of your choice. Vegetables are usually can is the draw back I have noticed. Homemade pies daily!
