Outrageous! Last night we were enjoying ourselves at Brodies with our friend from England. We were called drunks by bartender Jeff. We couldn't believe his disrespect toward us, especially because none of us were drunk. We come at least twice a week, and Brody's is our favorite bar. We hope this will not happen again. Thank you.

My biggest frustration, they offer a gift card service. For every $100 you get $20 free… the problem is, the owner decided he should charge taxes on the gift card… You’re already charging taxes on your drinks, don’t need to charge on your gift cards. Pretty sure it’s illegal to double tax also.

You wouldn't expect a good neighborhood bar to lie in this particular spot (Come on, we know Midtown is the worst), but Brodie's has a strong local following and a lot of business. What I liked: They have so, so much patio space, with DJs outside if you go on the weekend. The interior bar has food if you come early enough. The draft beer selection is small, but good. Yes, it's a gay bar, but it's not as clubby as a lot of the others around here. So if you want a more chill night with your group, an outdoor lounge type setup, it's a solid choice.

I've not encountered any problems here.I prefer it to IBTs and Venture by far.Vegetarian options: I do not recommend this bar for its food options. I recommend it for its drinks and friendly atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: I recommend eating elsewhere before coming for drinks.Parking: There are parking spots around the bar itself as well as street parking, and an adjacent empty lot that accommodates another six or so cars. Though it can get difficult to find parking on busy weekend nights.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar. It serves alcohol. Please do not bring your underage children here.
