I've been coming here on and off for over a year. Amazingly I barely get a hello, a smile, or anything resembling friendliness. I'm always there early and yes I sit and read the news and respond to emails when there, 45 min. to an hour. It's a small place and I get the feeling they'd rather be alone so the workers can chit-chat about their social lives. There are a few that just never stop talking, it's annoying listening non stop to all the drama in this persons life. It wouldn't be fair not to mention that the manager, Eric is very hard working. When he is there you can walk in the door at 5:30 AM when they open and it is ready to go....coffee made, half & half out, sugar, sweeteners filled. Unfortunately, he's not much friendlier. The bagels are okay, sometimes they seem doughy as if not quite cooked. the coffee is usually just a touch above warm. The place is also freezing cold. It doesn't matter what the temperature outdoors is, it can be 75, or 32, but the blowers are on full blast....bring layers. I don't order that much, usually just coffee and a bagel, but I just checked Quick Books and in the last 12 months I've spent well over $600 here. I now only come here when I absolutely need to and I'm as unfriendly as I can muster. Einstein's on Ina and Shannon is much better. I've been going there on and off for about the same amount of time. From the second week they greeted me by name.

Upscale fast food? Reasonable price and good flavor. I don't go here often, so when I do, I'm reminded of the extra variety as well as the delicious cream

Ordered a plain, toasted, bagel with plain cream cheese. There was far too much cream cheese, it was cut in half like normal then annoyingly cut, AGAIN, like a sandwich, it was very annoying to eat. The beautiful views and quiet atmosphere cannot be beaten.. less than average bagel with incredible views.

I think the La Canada store is messed up. I called it at 2:15 to order a dozen bagels. They close at 4:00. The person told me they do not make bagels after 2:00, so I could not get a dozen. I have never heard of this at any previous store. I called another Bruegger's further away, and they said they filled bagel orders until closing time.

My farmhouse breakfast sandwich was full of egg shell. The only reason this is a 3 instead of a 2 star is because of the overall service and the nice owner that actually cares about their customers even though he wasn't available today.

Have gone to this location for many years, foods ok. On one particular day my wife ordered to go and watched 5 orders go out before ours. The boy making our order seemed to be more interested in flirting with his female Co workers than making sandwiches. Brought it up to the manager which seemed un interested that he had an employee that was doing more socializing than working. Haven't been back since, probably won't be.

The staff is always friendly and I'm usually in and out quickly depending on how busy they are at the moment. The bagels are always great too!

Food is spot on! They will leave the trash over flowing (inside and out) and the bathroom dirty because, "Oh, we're closing in a few hours." Then go back to socializing...what the what? In this neighborhood?Where's the owner? Occurred multiple times.

Good New York style bagel. It wasn’t toasted enough even tho we asked for toasted. The jalapeño cream cheese was amazing!

I would call this bagel adjacent. It's better than Einstein by far, but is it a real bagel? Not quite.

Bruegger's Bagels has some delicious food. I'd recommend the farmhouse egg sandwich.

Just went about 30 minutes ago I asked for a blt bagel with cream cheese. And I got a bacon cheese and egg sandwich. Got the slowest working in there and the wrong order. I am MAD

Food is great but watch out for their prices and not honoring the posted price. Ordered a brunch box and the posted price was $34.99 but when checking out they charged $38.99+tax. Asked the guy about it and just shrugged and said that was the price in the register. Check your receipt if you go and be careful for what they charge you.

We enjoy your bagels but can you please get some vegan cream cheese? If you have it, i am sure more vegans will be able to enjoy your bagels and vegan cream cheese too. Thx

Zero stars. This family of fat slobs came in 05/14/23/11:30 with outside drinks and a dog. It was NOT a service dog. They not only put it on the seat in the booth, but it was on the table slobbering water all over and eating from the table. This is unsanitary and disgusting, and will be reported to the town. I know for a fact the tables are not cleaned between uses. The tall, skinny manager is useless. You have forever lost customers. I have photo proof if you want it.
