The mocha shake is so good! It has bits of chocolate dipped baked espresso beans in it, a shot or two of espresso, and tasted great! I've been coming here for years and the quality has not dropped.

Love love love the coffee here and they are very decently priced. I had the chocolate frappe 10/10 would recommend. This place reminds me of a little caffe that I went to with my mom on vacation. Love it here

Would you like some coffee with your sugar? At Chocolate Iguana, you've got a candy store and an ice cream parlor with a few iced/blended espresso options tossed in. Even their signature item, *the* chocolate iguana takes espresso & ice cream, then adds even more chocolate to it. It is, in my kindest terms, a rather juvenile menu, but it's not like I didn't enjoy my mocha. As others have noted, it looks a bit empty and unkempt in here. I hope a resurgence in foot traffic this spring gives them an opportunity to replenish their inventory, dust the place off, and live up to their vision of a charming cafe.

Fun and yummy cafe! Ordered the Chocolate Iguana and Raspberry sorbet freeze. The Chocolate Iguana was really good, almost like a peppermint mocha but more on the coffee flavor side. The Raspberry Sorbet Freeze was also super good! Really refreshing and strong raspberry flavor.Pros:Fast serviceGood drinksGood portion for price ($3.75 for the raspberry freeze and $4.50 for the chocolate iguana and both were very filling)Cons:Not much seating inside

Distinctly purple, and delicious. They have a full selection of coffees and pastries. We came in around lunch time and it was not busy, and received prompt attention and efficient service. One in our party had the Mexican mocha, and raved about how delicious it was. I had a breve and the espresso is very balanced. There was plenty of seating outside in the shade and that's where we decided to enjoy our drinks. The streets were busy and we ended up parking several blocks away, but that allowed us opportunity to do shopping at many of the unique stores on the way.

Haven’t been there in gosh…almost 4 years but it has the most amazing sweets and still has a piece of my heart to this day. So many kinds of teas for such a good price too. It makes my day knowing they’re still open. I can’t wait to go back

Amazing and unique shop! I remember the first time I went in there as a small child. Now I take my kiddos in there and it's there absolutely very place to grab treats! The staff is always beyond amazing as well. We will support them always and continue to come here because it means so much ❤

All of the little shops and restaurants on 4th Ave. need our business. Support our own.

I guess this place is a coffeeshop or expresso bar now and not really a candy shop this it has been in the past. They don't really do a whole lot different with their coffee so thats cool and not bad, but also not great.

The service was great. But ordered a cheesecake and two cupcakes and they were horrible. The three of us were so disappointed. The frosting was hard and the cake was dry. We each had one bite and threw them away. Don't waste your money

Let down. We were excited to go in but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. The employee wasn't very friendly and the cupcakes were dry. We got the carrot, black bottom and some tiramisu. We ended up throwing everything away.

Ice cream was good.

Lady was stinky, had no sandwiches, and didn’t know how to properly make the signature shake correctly. I’m not sure I’m willing to go back.

I drove out of my way to visit this little gem. I love local coffee shops. This is my least favorite in Arizona. Walking in is like a step back in time to 2019. No covid precautions at all. No problem, I was only ordering to go. The shelves were maybe 1/3 full, the bakery case also a bit sparse mid morning. I ordered a snickerdoodle iced latte and a turnover. The turnover pastry had that frozen char taste to it and was slightly undercooked. The latte was a powerful hit of cinnamon and sugar. I get that it's a snickerdoodle beverage, but my tongue should not recoil from cinnamon with every sip. Completely covering any coffee flavor. I wish I had better things to report but I doubt I'll be back.
