I'm very disappointed. The website looks great. Unfortunately, the sevice was some of the worst EVER. It was 430, hardly anyone there, the waitress kept forgetting water, bartender had to bring us refills. Waitress never checked on us after food was brought out. WE had to ask her to clear plates. Drinks sat at the bar so long the ice started melting. After waiting at the bar for drinks, bartender just forgot to make them . We had to go back, only to have her make the wrong drinks, ugh. Drinks were weak and overly sweet, nice presentation only to be disappointed by taste. I was in line for the restroom, bartender walks out, she didn't flush the toilet or wash her hands, gross. If I was that bad at my job, people would literally die.

We arrived with the intention of ordering takeout, but decided to eat here since it wasn't too busy at the time. The birria chimichanga plate was good overall. The birria and rice were slightly bland, but I think ordering it enchilada style helped it out some. Charging a $1.50 for the scoop of sour cream is a bit much.

Seriously amazing, authentic Mexican food. Tacos and beans were especially great. Margarita flights feature tasty, exotic flavors. Service was speedy and staff was delightful.

Just came in for the first time... I brought my lady we both had soft tacos, carne asada, grilled chicken, and Birria and washed them down w one of the best Micheladas I've ever had!!! Very friendly and attentive service, the bartender actually came to our table to ask me how my drink was!?" Awesome" I said.. How often do you see that!? Great job to the cooks, and staff, I will be coming back ASAP!!!

I wanted to love this place, but their food is bland. This is my third try, and I still didn't enjoy it. Not much of a selection, and if you're not used to this type of Mexican food, you'll be disappointed. Don't ask for more chips...they'll charge you! Our server was on his last shift, and he mentioned that they owners make you pay for everything.

Service was quick and friendly. Atnosphere is nice. We came in at 2:07. I recommend planning your timing; otherwise, the prices are a little steep for this restaurant. Lunch service stops at 2, and happy hour starts at 3. I prefer a little spice with my Mexican food. El Chinito Gordo's food had no heat. The Rajas appetizer was creamy and tasty. We tried the chille relleno and plate #1. The entrees were good, but again, they lacked any kick. The jamaica agua fresca was well prepared and not overally sweet. Gordo's even gave me a refill to go.

We went close to closing time and we were still warmly welcomed and told there was no rush. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the chile colorado and started crying because it tasted so much like my abuelita's DEP. I hope they continue to be successful because I hope to enjoy their food for years to come.Parking: They have their own parking lot.
