A little gem of a market. Support this local haven for all foods from the Eastern Europe tradition, plus some unique gift items.

We tried the Gyros they were good. The meat was tender and tasted great the bread was fresh as well as all the vegetables on the Gyro. The only problem I had was with the Tzatziki sauce was missing something. I know it seems small but the sauce is what makes the Gyro. I also enjoyed there many options for fresh Greek desserts. They had a really good selection of European beers.

For those unfamiliar with Russian Customer service I chalange you to get a "Thank you" from anyone working at this store! They never smile. They would never say thanks for shopping or even "how are you" or " have a good day!"All their stuff is extremely overpriced and been sitting there too long. Buy canned foods if you must buy anything there! So here is the challenge: go up to a cashier and give her 20 bucks, just say I want you to have it - then watch her pocket the money without even saying thank you. :)If anyone gets anything resembling a half-smile or a polite greeting, I would like to know how you did it!

Just stopped in for lunch and grabbed a gyro and a Russian candy bar! The gyro is delicious! And the Ukrainian woman who works there was very professional and polite. Will definitely be back! And idk what Mike Flemming is talking about in his review, I think he's just a cry baby haha. This place was a nice little find, I love exploring different cultures and trying their cuisine.

Great selection of European foods. The only one in Tucson. 26 years here.

Saw the menu online and wandered into try it with my girlfriend. No one acknowledged us other than to follow us around the store (watching us, but not helping). There is a dining area that was empty, but we were told all food is take out only. We ordered food and some noodles, paid with cash while getting weird looks the entire time . I made a pro Ukrainian comment, since the front is draped in Ukrainaim flags. She looked at me like I was talking a foreign language and said nothing as we shuffled out. Never going back.My gyro was not edible due to the meat being overcooked and completely dry.. The other was fine.

Great food, but for reasons unknown to me we were not permitted to eat it at one of the many empty tables inside the establishment. The food was delicious, I just hadn't planned on eating it in my car.

I recently did a DNA test which revealed my deep Eastern European roots, specifically my Polish ancestry. I was intrigued by this discovery, so I set out to visit every European market in Tucson. I was searching for old timey pickled tomatoes and squash packed in a jar I heard about from a relative who lives in Chicago. I stopped by this shop and immediately regretted wasting my time and fuel. The two owners who I assume are married or together in some way. They could be brother and sister. They were the rudest most unfriendly people I have met in Tucson. I asked the woman if she stocked the items I was after and she literally yelled “NO!” across the counter. I tired to engage her in conversation explaining my new DNA discovery and told her I was so honored to have Polish and Ukrainian roots. She frowned at me then walked away. The male then proceeded to follow me around constantly asking if I wanted to set my item on the counter. I said No thanks I’m still looking around. He then grabbed the jar of pickles out of my hand, glared at me, walked over to the counter and set it down. I didn’t buy anything after that. I was about to ask if I could see the nesting dolls in the glass cabinet, I wound up not purchasing anything. The owners are rude and completely unwelcoming to outsiders. Avoid this establishment at all cost. Go down the street to the other international market, which by the way, has fresh Baklava and added bonus, the owners are amazing people!

If I could give no stars I would.... my husband went in to this establishment today to pick up a door dash order and was made to feel like he was some kind of a nuisance. The lady stopped helping the person at the register to continue asking my husband " what do you want " . Not very good customer service and I don't feel like the way he was treated can be justified.

Always delicious, great service, and a wonderful variety of homemade eastern European specialties you won't find elsewhere in Tucson.

I wish Google had the “No stars” option. Went there for the 1st time to check this place out and wanted to like it…there was two people behind the counter who SAW us walk in and got ABSOLUTELY NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OR a simple “Hello or Welcome.” Was happy to recommend to others if we liked it, but no, not worth to spend our money here. CANNOT recommend this place. ? They obviously do not care for new business.
