I have been trying to find a good Italian restaurant in Tuson since i moved here in late 2012, and I have been so disappointed with each one I've been to. When i saw Giuseppe's new location on E 22nd, I stopped and ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. They had bolognese sauce. Instead of the deep red sauce shoen in the pictures on this website, i got sauce that looked like tomato soup that was nothing like the deep red color I saw on their website, and that tasted bland. Oh, and there wasn't any meat in the bolognese sauce!

I've known about this place for years. I got a gift card where we could eat here, so finally gave it a try. We ordered the antipasto plate, which was pretty fantastic! It was FULL of asparagus, olives, meats, cheeses, peppers, grilled onions - just WOW! Our sandwiches on the others were very MEH - just plain eggplant and sausage sandwich's - not a lot of flavor, and ok bread. This was a nice place though, and there is a nice outside seating area. It's dark and intimate inside. Service was good, but even though the place was mostly empty, our sandwiches took a looong time. Good thing we started with that antipasto plate!

Go to the Locale Neighborhood Italian Restaurant on Alvernon instead of this place the food and ambiance is so much better there. After an hour of waiting to order food, the waitress we had told us we needed to find her to tell her we wanted to order our food. When we asked for a manager to ask about that policy, the manager REFUSED to even come out and talk to us, how cowardous. Looking to report this restaurant to the Better Business Bureau with my attorney for bias and illegal labor restrictions. Everyone in the staff told me the only person cooking in the kitchen is the owner, I wonder how unsanitary that becomes due to cross contamination with just 1 person cooking for a restaurant full of people absolutely not.

After trying this restaurant the first time we visited Tucson two years ago we wanted to enjoy a dinner there tonight. Sadly it was not to be. We were given bread and water and sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, it never happened and we left and found another place to dine. We'll find another Italian restaurant to dine at in the future.

Popped in here for lunch one day with some friends Didn't seem very busy at all. They are located in a shopping center. We ordered off the lunch menu (on the back of the regular menu) & had the penne with sausage & the cannelloni with a chicken filling, kind of like having a chicken pot pie wrapped in pasta. Both were good but not exceptional Italian food. Both came with a nice fresh green salad that was tasty. A friend had the limoncello cake & said it was the best he'd ever had. It was ok, service was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

The service is awful here, waited 30 minutes for a to go order here and the only reason I got help was because the bartender came over to ask if she could help me. All the other wait staff have a stick up their butt, they all saw me waiting and didn't ask if I needed help or anything. I will never order here again!

Honestly the pizza smelled really good but it was extremely salty, was not even able to finish my pizza.
