“I have tried many different Sonoran hot dogs in the Old Pueblo here, and I think I found the best. Very reasonable prices, very friendly and hard working one man operation who is out there practically 7 days a week, 12 hours a day! Get on down there already and give him your business, you will definitely be back!“
“This guy has consistently the most inviting, happy personality. You can really tell he loves to serve people. Even if that wasnt the case his food speaks for itself! 10/10 One of my favorite places to eat lunch in tucson. Definitely recommend stopping here when you’re craving tacos!“
“This place has authentic Sonoran style hot dogs. I visit Hermosillo frequently and love the “dogos” so I know what I’m talking about! The hot dogs here are more like Hermosillo hot dogs than any other place I have tried in Tucson! The only criticism I can offer is they need to try and find the Hermosillo style buns with the deep pockets that can hold more toppings.“
“There's no need for any other items on their menu, this hot dog was incredible. This was my first Sonoran dog and I loved the toasted bun as well as all the toppings. We ate in the indoor dining room but ate our hotdogs so fast, we probably were only there for two minutes. I almost considered getting another hot dog, not gonna lie. Anyway, I highly recommend stopping by Ruiz's“
“First time customer today. 3.50 tacos. We had the Birria meat. The tacos where full of meat and and some cabbage. They had a full salsa bar in the seating area. The prices are right, the food was perfect, the owner was super friendly and made sure we had everything. Love it we will “
“I just discovered Reds this evening thanks to Uber eats, and I am glad I did, ordered a trio of tacos for supper they arrived pretty quickly loades with meat that was tender and savory seasoned to perfection im still salivating, I will be stopping by in peson for my next round though even quick delivery would be too long to have to wait“
“Food and service was great. The only negatives I have are. The food wasn't as spicy as I like....but I like a spicy that 98% of most people can't eat because it's too hot. The table tops are sticky from whatever kind if finish was on them...the place was clean!“
“The shrimp birria was great. It came with a mild verde sauce, spicy salsa and rich consomme, The bartender was super friendly and the building is charming! The only drawbacks are limited seating (three tables inside + bar, so you'll likely need to enjoy the lovely patio instead) and the prices are bordering on high ($16 for two birria tacos) and they charge you for extra chips. Anyway, I would come back!“
“Excellent service, I have only been once but I loved everything... A girl served us, Sophia Lopez I think was the name, very good recommendations, especially the bulls that were delicious... Soon we will go again and I hope we get the chance. Same girl because I was delighted with her charisma and attention and of course with all the delicious things we tried!!“
“Absolutely fantastic Sonoran dogs. If you've never had one, do yourself a big favor and cruise by Los Ponchos. All the best things about hot dogs and Mexican food all rolled into one. You can't beat the price either.Guys I ordered from were super friendly.Honestly had a perfect experience and can't recommend them more“
“This location isn’t open yet, but Portillo’s was a weekly dinner for me in Chicago. The best big beefs with hot peppers, Chicago style dawgs and cheese fries. I keep checking this place weekly to see if it’s open and they are making slow progress, I hope they hurry it up before I move!!“
“I love Sonoran Hot Dogs and this place has the best! These things are loaded and the bread is grilled topped with melted cheese! Yummmmmy! I would recommend this place as the best in Tucson this far and I've eaten at a lot of Sonoran Hot dog places.Vegetarian options: He has an option for a plant based Sonoran Hot dog.Parking: 10 spots“
“A fun spot in the heart of the downtown university district, will not only delight your tastebuds but also give you a birds eye view of Tucson’s ever expanding diversity. The lovely guarden patios and fountains provide both inside and outside seating that is family friendly and also accommodate students and professional with easy access to WiFi, the tram and several parking areas. In addition to having a tasty vegetarian omelet, the service and presentation was top notch.I anticipate Geronimo being one of the musts when friends and family come to visit Tucson.“
“if you like pork it's awesome. because it comes with a bacon wrapped jalapeno! bacon goes great with everything. it left a heat but not overwhelming, the hot dog comes with a variety of salsa, beans and condiments laid on a delightful roll. the sandwich is not sloppy but you can definitely get your hands messing. nicely established with tables and chairs and great looking truck“
“We are staying at Tucson Lazy Days KOA and wanted to try Sonora Dogs. Read reviews of some of there more known establishments but decided to try this mobile kitchen that operates to the side of a gas station. The food is bomb, very good, and an all at a great price. The owner is very friendly as well as other clientele there, locals who go there all the time. Can’t wait to go back“
“Visiting in Tucson, people tell you to try Sonoran dog as it is a local speciality. Well I try Sonoran dogs at multiple different places and this was easily the best one. Very unassuming place that focuses on a limited menu on what they do well, Sonoran dogs. bun, meat and toppings were easily the best flavor out of everywhere I tried in the area. It's on the side of a convenience store so just parked in the area and prices are super reasonable. Look no further if you just want to have the best Sonoran dog in the area.“
“as an avid sandwich consumer, i would like to humbly announce that the 4th ave deli is in my top 5 all time sandwiches. for context, i've been on this earth for multiple decades and have experienced a multitude of different sandwiches. it was phenomenal. this is a hole in the wall kind of place, and off of first glance, you wouldn't expect the yummyness protruding from in the establishment. the wall decor is perfect and i wouldn't change a thing. the menu consists of three categories of sandwiches, which are all named after people. the "outlaws and wiseguys," "dangerous dames," and the "mob bosses." the names of the sandwiches themselves make you feel a sense of awesomeness when you delve into them. i ordered the pretty boy floyd and after one bite i was immediately rearranging my "top 5 sandwiches of all time" order. the service was quick and my order was exactly right (even with my requests). this sandwich is one of many for me, as i will definitely be returning on a weekly basis. not to mention the pickles, made in house, are the perfect deli pickle. nothing beats a sandwich and pickle combo and the 4th ave deli perfected it. no complaints, no changes to be made, pure perfection. until we meet again sandwich, howard“
“We heard through friends about this food stand...it's usually located at the corner of S. Kinney Road and W. About Highway...diagonally across from McDonald's.The dogs are awesome...made to order and the gentleman making them is very gracious. Instead of the dog being wrapped in bacon, he serves a bacon wrapped pepper popper...so delicious! We'll go there again the next time we are in Tucson!!“

“Best place to get a good burro, really friendly people that love to cook good food, they also have aqua fresca, and toppings to add like guacamole, salsa, limón, etc. while you’re waiting for the food to be cooked, their carne is BOMB but don’t let carne distract you from the other things they have in their menu ????And as of now I found out they take card so that saves me a BUNCH of time from going to the bank“
“Love this place been goin here for years, they have the best Sonoran Hotdog in town hands down make sure you get them Chipilon style, he used to work at Pero Loco until he got his own stand. You should definitely do your stomach a favor and stop by.“
“I’m always on the lookout for a great Sonoran Hotdog and El Perro Loco definitely has a great one! I rate this Sonoran Hotdog the second best that I ever had since moving to Tucson almost three years ago. Cooked just right with great flavor. I was so excited to try this place I took a bite before I got a photo. After taking that bite I had to still get a pic because of how good it tasted! This place is definitely on my places to return to for a great Sonoran Hotdog ?“
“This was an amazing place to find for food! 50 Sonoran hot dog options and wow they were soooo dank and tasty! We got the Mexicano and the AK47 and were sooo impressed. The seating is great, the paper towels come in handy and the owner?/chef is super nice and welcoming! He served us our carne asada burrito (for my bf) and Mexicano hotdog (for me) then when we finished those, he served the AK47 to both of us and wow!! ? so GOOD! Great service. Loved this meal! Thank you to the chef!!!Parking: So many spots in the lot“
“It is worth trying! You will never disappoint! We ordered their Special hotdogs, Tostidogos, Tostiqueso and TostiElote. They’re all delicious! We also like their drinks Sangria Senorial & bottled soda. They’re very friendly and polite!“
