We had the pleasure of visiting Tucson twice within a couple of weeks and both visits we stopped in at 6501 E Grant Rd Jersey Mikes location. Not only were the sandwiches fantastic we couldn’t help notice what a great attitude the young man had who made our sandwiches. He was working both times we were there. He said his name is name is Jose. He is genuinely friendly, not only to us but to every customer that walked in the door. He is incredibly patient with people and very respectful. And he never stopped working. If he wasn’t making sandwiches, he was cooking and if not that he was cleaning. He gives me hope for our future workforce. It’s obvious he’s going places but in the meantime I want to let the manager know what an incredible employee you have!

We ordered three sandwiches online. Once we arrived there were three people working behind the counter and 8 people waiting for mobile orders and 5 people in line for counter order. The employees were working at one speed. 50mins later we received our order. you can see what my sandwich looked like in the photo. Gross. This looks like it was made in Jersey. How does this place stay open? Best option is to get some real food over at Chipotle.--UPDATE--Per the reply I've emailed and asked for my money back. Ill update once I hear back from them...---UPDATE---We received a full refund.

Love this sando shop. Choose your number sando, type of bread, and they're off and running. I always get a mini, and always Mikes way.Not much in the way of decor, but it does the job.

Used to be better. But it seems as if they use stale bread. Their wraps are better, but you have to ask for them,.. Blu on the

Ordered Philly Cheese steak sandwiches and they were delicious. The bread was not toasted, but that's on me as I forgot to ask. They gave me a substantial amount of meat, a sufficient amount of cheese & the staff were friendly.

The manager is a lovely and great person. Smile and customer service wise she’s one of the best! She just hires the most brain dead employees. If she doesn’t make my sandwich, me and my family’s Subs will be incorrect. On a vegetarian sub we ordered to be vegetarian….we had bacon on it??? I don’t how you mix that up, sorry.Again the two older people working there are angels, if you don’t see them working check your sub before you leave the store.

Patronizing this store around 4:45 PM, I was the only customer, so service was impeccably fast and friendly. While I found the sandwich overpriced, it was of good quality with an average filling of cold cuts. I have not tried other offerings. If you are not concerned with the cost, it's a decent choice. Being on a retirement income, it's not likely that I'll visit again.

Having tried Pats cheese steak and Geno's cheese steak in Philly, Jersey Mike's is easily as good. Give it a try and see what you think. Always consistently good. Always a good choice for football games or NASCAR!

i'd seen the commercial on tv where you watch them make your sub, so I decided to go there today to try it out. Immediately after I walked in, a young man (about college age) saw me and walked over to the register. I didn't think nothing of it; I just stood in line at the counter to order my sandwich. The guy stood at the register watching while I ordered. He asked the young, lady before she started making my sandwich what did I order, and started ringing me up before the sandwich was made. This is not the custom for 'Subway' type shops. Usually you watch them make your sandwich, tell them what you want on it, before they bring it up to the register where they ask if you want to add drinks and chips. No, this kid had me up at the register, and demanded that I paid before the lady even started making it. It felt strange. I protested by saying that I wanted to watch her make my sandwich like everyone els, but he insisted that I paid first. She stood watching him and didn't start making my sandwich until I had paid. I asked him if Jersey Mike's did this with all their customers, he had a smug smile on his face and disn't answer my question. Now I'm a 68 year old disabled veteran. I always wear my Army unit cap when I go out because I'm constantly being be profiled since I moved here to Tucson over a decade ago. Even though they make a great turkey and provolone, I will not be returning to that store again. I did not feel welcomed. I gave it three stars for the food, and zero for the service. Can you blame me. As a veteran I feel that I've earned the right to be treated because of the "content of my character," not the color of my skin. I feel sorry for those youngsters.

This was our first visit to a Jersey Mike's and frankly I can't tell their subs apart from any of the other sub places on the eastside. We frequently make our own subs and they are about the same. Tasty but not great. The service was fine and friendly even though our requested oil on the side was left out of our bag. We are probably spoiled after living on the east coast for a number of years. Roma's is the only location in Tucson we have found that is unique.

Life long Jersey Mikes customer. This store has horrible customer service. I will not be back to this store. I walked in to an empty store and not one employee said hello. They did not ask for my order, I had to just start telling them. I ordered three sandwiches which they immediately charged me for before even beginning to make them. I paid $54 plus tip. Then they started making my sandwiches. I asked for cheese on the $9.35 regular tuna (already overpriced) and was told they would now have to charge me for this cheese. $54 in sandwiches plus a tip and you can’t put a slice of cheese on? Meanwhile the other two sandwiches I had to ask them to put all the ingredients on that the sandwich comes with. They were finished and had left off mayonnaise and bacon. I have never had a Jersey mikes experience like this after hundreds of sandwiches. Most of the time everyone is exceptionally friendly and customer service focused. Not this store. Not these employees. I couldn’t even use my points because the guy ringing me up said “yeah, I don’t know how to do that.” What am I even tipping for?a tip is for exceptional service, not obligatory. What a joke.

The food I ordered from Jersey Mike's at Grant road and tanque Verde through the GrubHub app was on time and tasted great! Nice job!

I have had the same experience with the same employee as Julian on multiple occasions. Disdainful attitude doesn’t really do it justice, she tried to play dumb, clever, and everything in between. She’s a liar that will try to twist your patience against you if you let her. Love jersey mike’s, but this toxic employee will prevent me returning. Corrective action should have taken place long ago - good luck.—former Jersey Mike’s employee 2005-2007, NC
