We have been going there ever since I can remember with my family. Me and my Husband started going again these last 2 years, has always been great. Gene is great at serving us and remembering what we order. On Sunday the 5th of May we went and there was a young lady who was our server. She acted like she didn't care about our order. She got it wrong, never came to refill our teas, salsa. Had to ask for our check then when asked about our sopapillas being ready ( we got them to go) she asked oh you still want them. Then my husband went up to pay and she walked away leaving our cash money on the counter. My husband had to go get it and give it to the other young waiter so he could cash us out and we could leave. So disappointing.

Not too many places in Tucson that still makes the traditional Tacos. Meat Patti in crispy corn tortillas. Yum. Came with beans rice hot plate. Salsa was mild. Atmosphere was really quiet ?. No music no nada. Service was ok. Prices were ?.

Family favorite for 5 generations. Their food is homestyle delicious. Tastes just like my momma Nina used to make. We have celebrated so many special things at this restaurant. Family owned. THE BEST patty tacos and Mexican steak. Beans are to die for.
