This was our first trip to Kimchi Time, but so far so good. We are thrilled to find a good Korean eatery with decent -- dare I say pre-pandemic -- prices, and great service. Sure, the restaurant is a bit grungy, but not awful. And the young fella who served us couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. For the details, we had DOLSOT (what they call Bimimbap in a hot stone bowl) for $14.95, a vegetarian SOON DU BU (like a creamy, spicy stew) for $12.95, and beers. With a generous tip we were out of there for about $50. And we were quite happy and full.

Although I like the food and service, I only gave it 3 stars, because it is divey. As soon as we walked in the restaurant I was kinda surprised cause it is dingy and place looks outdated. But I noticed that customers are younger crowd. Servers are young and friendly. And I noticed their price is less expensive than other places. If they fix this place up it will definitely be a hit, cause in reality, they have good food.

Pork Belly at Kimichi Time The Best Korean Restaurant At Tucson, Az Good Environment, Family Restaurant

My wife and I go a few times every month and always enjoy the food and the family-style restaurant. Favorite dishes in no particular order are the Kimchi Pancake, the fried chicken wings, Kimchi Jigae, Bibimbap, Galbi, Naengmyeon(in summer), Beef and Pork Bulgogi. Recently we used the private karaoke room for a friends birthday and had a great time. The music selection is geared more to Korean speakers but English is our only spoken language and we did not run out of songs to embarrass ourselves singing along to. Easily my favorite Korean spot in Tucson!

Amazing food and great service. 100% recommend if you like Korean food. The menu isn't overly complicated and lots to try.

Had a great time here. We ordered the kimchi jjigae & beef bulgogi, with a bottle of soju! We received our orders promptly and service was great. They did checked us on a little too much which made me realized that the restaurant became quite busy and it had a few people waiting. The constant checking was good but it did feel like they were trying to rush us a bit. We did take home half of our meal since we were full.

The food here was great! If you are looking for something that reminds you of Korea, this is the place! This place is legit. We all tried a bit of everything and it was delicious. They also had a karaoke room! Our server was Russel, very attentive and answered any questions we had. The only thing I can suggest is maybe a new sign for the outside of the restaurant so it's easier to find. Thank you!

Apparently Kimchi Time has been around for years and I have been missing out. There were 7 of us and our table was full. Everything was super flavorful. Service was attentive. I will definitely become a regular.

My wife and I went out of our box and tried some Korean food and we are glad we did! This place doesn't look like much in a strip mall, but man the flavors are awesome! I can't tell you all what we had but it was all excellent, including the kimchi you get as free appetizer. Wait staff was very accommodating and attentive. We will definitely go back again.

This tucked away gem on Broadway is excellent! The food is well portioned, well prepared, very savory and they offer Jinro Soju, (accept no substitute). Very attentive staff, and just a great example of Korean BBQ for Tucson. Stop in and check it out. Small venue good for dates, or foodies looking for authentic Korean food!

Lovely Korean comfort food! The kimchi balls are huge, and if you get the rice cakes with cheese, they come out flaming. All the food was great. There must be a nail salon next door, when you walk in it smells like nail polish. Service was ok, the waitress was mostly uninterested in us, so one beverage was all we really got. I would go back for the food alone though, the rest is just texture.
