I like this place a lot. Their ramen is nice but so is the ambiance. I went there with my kid and my parents and it was nice. But I also went there with a date and it felt good (the food, not the date!)

This is the 3rd time I've attempted to eat at Kiwami during the normal posted buisness hours on their website and Google and they were closed. It would appear this buisness has no intention of following their own hours of operation.

Ehh. I had the Miso Ramen, it was... OK. I should've gone to Miss Saigon tbh. The broth wasn't very flavorful, I got 3 tiny pieces of pork that weren't charred or cooked very well, the egg was probably the best part of the soup. The fried octopus balls were so mushy it was almost like straight liquid inside. The service was the absolute worst I've had in a long time. The girl basically ignored me. Waited 10 minutes for a drink and literally didn't speak to her again the entire time. Some guy brought my food and took my payment. I usually tip the bill since I eat alone but this was the 1st time I left $2. She really didn't even deserve that but I feel bad not leaving anything but I won't be coming back. There HAS to be better

Kiwami Ramen is a nice, simple noodle restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is small, you order by the number for ramen, and customize it with add ons. Most of the broths are pork based, spouse had the curry #6. Very hearty, curry was mild, plenty of flavor in broth. The one vegetarian option barely satisfied me. They should rethink even offering one. It had a nice complex peppery broth, and included tasty green noodles, salad greens, 1 bit of broccoli, one Brussel sprout cut in half. I added mushrooms, otherwise it wouldn’t have been much of a meal.Appetizer menu was pretty extensive and we tried the pan fried vegetarian gyoza. Six pieces stuffed with edamame and veg. were fabulous and a good dish to share. Washed it down with jasmine ice tea. Will go back and try more apps.Looked like a very busy drive-thru happening.

the straight white noodle for Tonkotsu was too thick/soft and didn't match with the soup.(soup was good). that wasn't because of how they boil. the noodle itself wasn't good.

Ambience and service were good. We got drop in 10 mins which was really good. The food was fantastic but they should add more meat on the menu that we have ordered the last time we've visit because it was not enough for us. Thanks!

We just moved back to America from Japan and have really been missing authentic ramen! This is the closest we have found since moving back, and I loved that they had traditional bar seats by the kitchen! My toddler and I shared a bowl of miso tonkotsu (#4) ramen, a plate of fried rice, and a plate of gyoza and brought leftovers home for my husband to try, and they were all delicious! My baby loved the noodles and the rice (which was my favorite thing I tried). I also got strawberry ramuné (they had a HUGE Japanese drink collection!) and they followed our meal by asking if we wanted mochi ice cream! The cookies and cream was both of our favorite! Highly recommend that one! Our hosts name was Alex and he was fantastic!!! Super warm and friendly and welcoming, and he was so good with my two and a half year old! Every time he walked by she would say hi and he’d give her a fist bump and she would get so excited lol He made it super special for her! There was also a blonde guy with a black and white hat in the kitchen that was really nice and welcoming too but I didn’t catch his name. This place is so family friendly and the staff are all amazing! We’ll definitely be regulars here!

The service was friendly and I am sure the food is good. Everyone in my group seemed to enjoy the food. However, I read the reviews prior to coming here and it was mentioned that they had a gluten free kale noodle. When I mentioned this to the wait staff they stated that they thought they were gluten free, but six months ago they realized they were made with wheat flour. The wait staff then brought me the nutritional menu which only had 4 items marked as gluten free, spicy tuna, seaweed salad, edamame, and crispy fried shrimp. I was surprised that crispy fried shrimp was marked as gluten free, so I asked the wait staff to double check. They returned and said they checked the box and it is actually made with wheat flour. So at best they have three items, two of which are side dishes that are gluten free. ** NOT Gluten free friendly **

We're visiting our parents in Tucson and decided to try Kiwami Ramen. We ordered miso ramen (spicy and regular), chicken karage, chasu fried rice, and gyoza to go. Overall, the food was tasty. Miso ramen tasted average and definitely not spicy, even after we added more spicy chili oil. We were quite impressed with the to go ramen container (see pic) and the careful way our order was packaged. Thus, we would recommend this restaurant, especially if you prefer to take away your food or order for delivery.
