Omg. This place was uhMAZEing! Tried to come last weekend but due to mechanical issues they had closed early. Tried again today and so glad we did! Service was as impeccable as the food! Definitely will be coming back as we are in the neighborhood.
The carne asada tacos and pastor tacos, were delicious, served on double corn tortilla, topped with pico de gallo salsa and cabbage,m. The pastor meat was very tasty and the asada was easy to chew and tasted very good. The salsas they have for the tacos were full of flavor and thick in consistency. I visited the food truck outside the funky monk. Is a small food truck and gets busy after an event, I recommend getting more tables. The two ladies working were serving pretty fast.

Received wrong order. Ordered beef burrito and got one taco. The price difference is $12. Didn’t, know until I got home. In addition, the food was rather bland. I live in the neighborhood. Will not recommend.

We've found it difficult to find a restaurant that serves tamales. La Cabana del Bambino does -- we just ate 4 and ordered 8 more to go. Muy, muy delicioso! Coming back later in the week to try some of the other items -- all prepared here and looking like my diet is over.

Mediocre tacos. Don’t get me wrong the tacos were ok good, but pretty good in Tucson’s Unesco Wold capital of gastronomy is really quite bad. I paid over 30$+ for 6 tacos served on a paper plate which was a light meal for two. Consider 20$ a person if you’re hungry. Cabeza was ok, Asada tasted of gas, and pastor was stewed not roasted which is a deception. This is not a sit down place and we are denied tap water when we asked for it. There is only one salsa, just like the tacos it’s mediocre.

Great mom and pop style; hole on the wall; diamond in the rough. Food was excellent. Service was friendly and fast. Dining area was clean and had a nice personality. If you are looking for local cuisine at a very affordable price, this is a great choice!
