The incredible smell of fresh sweets as soon as you walk in! All the pastries are so colorful and fun. The donuts are always on point - La Estrella has been named #1 donut shop in Arizona in the past. My personal favorite are the Sonoran hot dog buns! Can't find better ones in Tucson!
It's worth the trip to the west side of I-10. A tiny place and very busy. but lots of staff and we had no waiting time. We bought a box of several excellent pastries which were priced very competitively. Definitely on our return list. But parking was a littke problem.

This is the type of place you should go to for tortillas y pan dulce. But they also happen to make the best donut I have ever had and believe me I am a true donut connaisseur. I have donuts all over the US and in over 15 country across four continents and Estrella has the best donuts but really you should go for the tortillas.
